I go almost every year and and this year it seems a little smaller. They've done away with the infants Pool and and the Pop-Up ice cream stands and the marquee with bean bags. The length of time it will remain open for has shortened to just three weeks. it's still free which I'm truly grateful for. you can't bring inflatables or pool noodles and the green door in the changing room keeps flying open and is insecure. Despite these issues I thoroughly enjoyed it, the staff were generally friendly and helpful. I was in the pool for hours and I would definitely go again, and yes I would still recommend it to friends and family, as it's going to get hotter this week and this is free. It's a fantastic feeling floating on your back, and looking up at the open Sky on a hot day.

Within a few years, both London’s Canning Town & Royal Docks with stunning the coastline on both sides have changed beyond recognition. Nowadays Royal Docks consist of four areas, each with its own characteristics and with attractions and facilities to appeal not only to locals but moreover to tourists and business communities. Great days out! You will find business parks, sporting events, restaurants and bars and stunning residential developments. Let me tell, for those who like late evening, quiet hikes or walks, this place is really worth visiting. You will find plenty to explore as well as it will make you feel like you are in a seaside city. Highly recommended 👍

This is a nice place for a visit. Our daughter (nearly 4yo) enjoyed the sandpit but was a bit sad that we'd sold it to her as 'going to the beach' before we'd actually seen what was here. The kids swimming information on the website was confusing. It's run by Love Open Water. You do have to book but for kids and supervising adult it's free. Just register via the website/app. They give you a wristband when you check in. The water was 19 degrees when we visited but felt pretty cold so my daughter decided not to go in after getting waist deep. It ranges from 0.6 - 1.5m deep. It's pebble floor in the pool so bring water shoes if you have them.

A nice tiny beach in the city. There are many restaurants and activities for families and friends. Water activities are also available here. It's close to the emirates cable cars that will take you to the O2 where there are many more shops and restaurants and also a cinema. Its good for a relaxed day out. You also can go on a boat ride. The only downside is the water on the mini beach is the River Thames. And personally myself i would advise people not to swim in the River Thames due to all that pollution and garbage inside. But that does not mean you cannot enjoy a nice boat cruise and the views around you. I have been here many times, for high class conferences and business meetings in the hotels and the views are amazing. Iv also taken my friends here for exploring and its brilliant. Its a nice place to go for a jog or to ride your bike. Would recommend...
