Seems almost like SE London's answer to NYC's High Line (or at least, a very short version of it - currently walking leisurely from one end to the other is probably a 5min walk at most). However, it's a nice walk and gives you a better vantage point, especially the bits closer to the Thames. Overall a nice detour if you were already in the area
Would be better if it was longer (apparently there are plans to extend it to be 5km long), if there was more shade (it gets very hot on sunny days), and more signage introducing the artworks...

Originally billed as a linear park this is nothing of the sort, park conjures up images of lovely green spaces not an elevated walkway to nowhere. What is its purpose? It doesn't work as a public space or as an artwork and it certainly doesn't work as a community space.
