The Oiler Bar — Restaurant in London

We have walked past this feature pub on a number of occasions and decided to have a drink. Atmosphere was pleasant. After purchasing our drinks we sat watching the wake boarders. Drink reasonably priced. £11 for gin and lemonade and a pint. The only thing I want to point out, was that with my gin , the lady opened up a can of lemonade, used half of it and then put the can at the back of the bar. She didn’t offer it to me to drink, considering I had paid for it. When I went up and ordered the same again, and she used the same can! We ordered pizzas from the pizza counter at the opposite the bar. It took awhile to arrive but once they did they was tasty and filling. It’s a shame they have to close the bar at 9pm due to being in a residential area. It was really busy, it’s a shame because we would have stayed much longer. What a fantastic find, this is a must go to bar perfectly situated overlooking water sports, run by two great guys and serving awesome quality beer. We were made so welcome. My company held a private corporate function at The Oiler this week and had a really fab time. Jon and Sarah were fantastic hosts and extremely accommodating, the snug bar itself was cosy but still spacious and the rooftop has lovely views of the surrounding areas. Everyone had a great time!
