HPY Notting Hill is a fantastic studio, especially for those who want to add a more unique touch to their practice.
The dim lit pod with light touch electronic music helps create a relaxed yet energetic atmosphere.
You end up very close to your neighbours but I think that adds to the experience, I hate huge yoga rooms where everyone is spread out. Energy is infectious!
There are of course some limitations to a blow up tent, the floors are far softer than usual and there are no walls or mirrors - which makes handstands difficult to practice.
Whilst there are always more challenging poses available, I would say the classes are geared towards beginner/itermediate levels.
For those looking for a more traditional yoga practice, this may not be the place for you, but for those looking for an overall fun and challenging experience, then I highly suggest HPY Notting Hill.
The teachers and owner are all also very welcoming/friendly and super helpful, which isn't a given at yoga classes...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve never done yoga before - yoga of any kind that is. Iāve felt at ease at HPY Notting Hill and with help of the kind instructors Iāve grasped some basics. I appreciate that I was corrected when I wasnāt doing the moves right as I would hate to injure myself. The instructors are very observant and also advise how to adjust the move if you are working with an injury. The studio and the equipment are always clean and I havenāt come across the studio being smelly as some of my friends suggested the hot pot yogas would smell. Iāve joined with the purpose to strengthen my body as I was suffering with really bad migraines and vertigoes all due to problems with my neck. Thatās been now improved massively and I also find welcome the de-stressing factor the yoga brings after work. I finally get home not feeling mentally drained and physically aching and thatās all down to the yoga session. Thank you to the HPY Notting Hill team for their marvellous contribution to my...
