I went to pick up my Hermes parcel and on arrival was asked my name and then pointed in the direction of a huge pile of abandoned dumped parcels for anyone to go through and take as they please. My parcel was not there even though their scanner had said it’d been delivered. They told me to come back the next day, which I did and still it was not there amongst another pile of dumped packages. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was pinched by someone as they were an expensive pair of trainers from a well know high end shop. I will NEVER use this place to either collect or drop off a Hermes parcel as it really is a shambles and would advise everyone else to use at your own risk.

Bought some chocolate from their store, only to come home, open it and find that there is mould on it, and some sort of water/condensation? Tried to take to back to them and explain that it is rancid, to which they said they wouldn’t take it back because it has been opened which means they wouldn’t be able to re-sell it! Erm.... re-sell it? It’s mouldy? First of all, Why would they try and re-sell it. Secondly, how was I meant to know it was mouldy if I hadn’t opened it?.... absolutely disgusting!

I cannot make any comments about this store from a goods/groceries point of view but as my local Hermes Dropoff this place is so far removed from being convenient. The "machine" is never working. That would be the machine that prints the Hermes labels. Sometime the other "machine" is not working. That would be the PDA that scans the printed labels. Either way I get the same response. "Machine is not working boss, come back tomorrow". You can only imagine what happens when you return the following day. I have given this local convenience store 10 chances and it's failed 8 times. Tonight was the last. A 5 min driver further to a shop in Berrylands - where neither machine is ever broken is my way forward. Last note on customer service: not the most friendly or welcoming. There's this one guy that's always on his mobile. He'd rather be chatting to his mates than serving customers. Goodbye Surbiton...

I have been a frequent shopper at this store but encountered some challenges during my recent visits. The younger gentleman at the register seemed to misunderstand my intentions when I purchased items from the reduced section, specifically the 2 for £3 area. I offered to show where I found those items, as I believe clear communication could resolve any confusion.

Additionally, I've heard similar feedback from neighbours who have experienced unkind interactions. The store might benefit from ensuring that reduced items are properly price-tagged, which could help avoid future misunderstandings.

Given these experiences, I think it may be best for me to explore other shopping...
