Today I had really bad and disappointing experience talking to one of the staff of the Restraunt I work at mental health setting and the patients ordered food from this restaurant and the food didn’t get delivered, I didn’t know what was all the matter, the poor patients who couldn’t find a way out and asked me to help them by calling the Restraunt and ask what’s the matter, I called the Restraunt and asked the details, the person on phone explained me that it was via uber I.e the third party and they have already explained it to the patients which I was not aware of, the topic should end there as I said ok I’ll let them know that it was via third party and they need to contact uber for their delivery, but then the staff member on phone was really rude to me he said I don’t know Why Am I talking to you there is no relation to explain you I said I understand but this is a mental health trust I need to help patients as U would help your staff (May be) but he said whatever is the department, whatever it is….I didn’t even bother to listen to that rude person and I disconnected the call, sir you work in a Restaurant handling different types of customers and I work in a Mental health setting with so many different patients but the main difference is you don’t know how to speak or help your customers, Very disappointing, I was calm but it felt like I am speaking to someone doing 12.5 hours shift in a worst mental health setting, please talk politely to your customers I know explaining them again and again about same thing annoys a bit but they r not normal like you so don’t take your frustration out on staff who are trying to help you and as well as...

My husband made a large group booking for a friend's birthday. But due to unforeseen circumstances plans had to be changed. He used the online "manage booking" facility, from the email he was sent by the restaurant, to cancel the booking. Yet unfortunately he still received an irrate call from the restaurant on the evening the booking would have been due....I was appalled at the manner in which he was spoken to and the accusations hurled at him. Very unprofessional. {It appears the restaurant team need to check and understand how their own email/online cancellation software works before accusing customers of standing them up.} Furthermore, when the restaurant representative realised he was in the wrong there was no apology or reconciliation, only a swift attempt to end the conversation. This is not an acceptable way to treat customers. I only hope this was an off day, and that they will improve their customer relations going forward.

Read morePlease don’t order from this restaurant. I ordered a takeaway with a group of friends yesterday evening and we were all appalled at the low quality of food, despite ordering a variety of veg and non veg curry, a tarka daal, biryani and naan.
We agreed that the flavours were poorly balanced, undersalted and at no point could we taste any spice and were shocked given the good reviews we had seen online. In particular, lamb curry was so sweet that it was genuinely inedible; the biryani lacked any distinguishable flavour; the daal lacked any hint of cumin or mustard of the process of a tarka (where despite being supposedly a ‘tarka daal’). It was honestly extremely disappointing and felt like poor value for money: it was overly sweet, lacking spice or salt. Having grown up with authentic north and south Indian food, this felt like an extremely poor representation: I would only order from this restaurant if serious changes were made.
