Beautiful historic meadow. From April to October the meadow is grazed by a herd of Belted Galloway cattle. During these months dogs must be kept on a lead. Some dog walkers resent this, with their usual: "My doggy is a good doggy, a nice doggy and a doggy that never poo-poo's without me pretending I didn't see it".
