Private Chef Artan — Attraction in London

Chef Artan was simply perfect! I’ll list the reasons: Arrived early and quietly set up. Needed no help. Navigated my kitchen as if he had done it several times before. Guests arrived late. He did not complain and reassured me even that all was ok. On top of that baby would not settle so we ran 45 minutes late! Not a problem for Artan. I was so grateful. Artan introduced each course as he served the table. What a lovely touch that was. The food was excellent. We had a variety of delicious canapés outside, then either mozzarella ball or tiger prawns starter, sirloin steak or bream main, and then creme brûlée for dessert. The latter was the best thing I had ever tasted. The food was more than enough with everyone completely full, so no worries about portion size even for my big eaters. Artan left my kitchen immaculate. All surfaces cleaned, dishwasher on, pots and pans away. Fantastic And to cap it all what a thoroughly pleasant unassuming man, who was ultra polite with a permanent smile on his face.

One of the guests has asked for his number because she is wanting to do a different evening for her daughters birthday. I love having people around. This time, our ruby wedding anniversary, I got to be one of the guests too instead of running around cooking, serving and washing up. I will DEFINITELY do it again. You could have everyone pay. After all it is the same as you all going to a restaurant but #better food #no babysitting charges #not being stung at 5x the price for alcohol.

My experience of Chef Artan has been absolutely wonderful, and I don’t have any hesitation in writing this review. I’d booked him to cook dinner at my 70th birthday celebration for 22 people. He was helpful, accommodating, talked through the menu with me and made suggestions. I decided on the scallops for course 1 and it was awesome - everyone loved it, and commented on the large portion and quality. The seabass for course 2 for non meat eaters was also a big hit. The trio of desert went down a treat. All in all the dinner was amazing . We all enjoyed it and wished Chef Artan was our private chef to cook every meal for us at home. I also booked the services of two waiters he recommended and they too were wonderful, professional and helpful. They worked well as a team and made my evening very special. The kitchen was left spotlessly clean like he’d not been there at all!! I must say that I was very impressed with Chef Artan - amazing and high quality food, good timing and quick responses to my messages and calls. My family and I have said we will most definitely book him again even if it is just for the 8 of us! Well done Chef and huge thank you for making my special...

Artan created the perfect meal for my celebration dinner party for 10. From truly delicious and plentiful canapés to melt in the mouth lamb and a 'tarte tatin' dessert which was amazing. He was easy to work with, left my place spotless and made it possible for me to switch off and enjoy. I have held chef catered dinners before but Artan has been the best - it was a 'foodie' crowd and they were all impressed. I will definitely be using Artan again.

I should also mention Gianpietro - I like waiters who engage comfortably, are very friendly and at ease but still meticulously professional. They make everything flow and are really additive to the evening rather than merely 'serving'. We had a wine buff who wanted the wines served in a specific way, order, etc. And Gianpietro managed it perfectly, allowing my guest to also relax.
