Read moreMy family and I were looking forward to visiting after lockdown, and a new cafe had settled in, but whilst the park and gardens were stunning I couldn't say the same for the cafe; menu was over priced, upper class, staff unaware of two sharp knives lying on the floor which doesn't bear thinking about, and chatting to regulars about personal matters than providing a service to customers waiting. Our bill was £45 for two adults and children, scandalous, and my son was violently sick after their milkshake yet the response given was to call the council as the toilet wasn't connected to them; hasten to add I cleared it up myself, using what I could, so I will not be visiting again and hope the original café style/ price/ normal foods for children returns...
