Went there for lunch. Food was fine (apart from he fact I couldn't taste anything else apart from cheese in my lasagna), but nothing special. OK for the price I paid. However I'm sure it would taste better if the staff was more attentive.

They were busy chatting to each other about their personal issues and commenting on customers (!?). One of the waitress said "If I get a double again I'm going to call sick". Doesn't really make me feel great when I'm a customer. Clearly she doesn't like her job or she's too tired to work (poor management - rota planning?).

We ordered a starter (which was bread - how long can that take to bring?), but it never came, even though I asked the waitress if it's coming after 20 minutes and she said yes. We got our main courses and I asked other waitress to not to bring our starter anymore. Then I've heard the staff laughing about the situation, saying they're just too tired to think.

Anyway - I felt like the staff doesn't give a heck about the customers and their priority is to socialize with each other around the bar. I felt like I was interrupting them.

Place looks nice and cosy, but you need some staff training. I appreciate it's not a Michelin star restaurant, but when I hear staff arguing who has to go to take an order (none of them wanted) I don't...

So disappointing. Service was slow. We ordered two 0% beers; they brought one and said that was their last. Then it turned out they’d also run out of the main course on the specials list - but in both cases we only found out after we’d placed an order.

We ordered focaccia, olives and calamari antipasti: the squid was limp and soggy; the focaccia would have embarrassed any restaurant, but was unacceptable at an Italian eatery. It was so stale and powdery we sent it back. The manager came out and having apologized and agreed to remove it from the bill, said “it’s not meant to be bread - it’s focaccia” - to which, having just got back from Italy, I assured her “that is not focaccia”.

The main course pastas were bland (maybe under-seasoned) but otherwise unremarkable. Similarly, the insalate pollo was ok but again nothing I’d rush to have again. By this point we chose not to order dessert to avoid any further disappointment.

It’s a nice spot to sit outside - if you ignore the naff astroturf on the ground - but that’s really the only thing I can see this place has going for it; and I felt bad for our host who’d had a good experience here before and brought us along to celebrate a family birthday. I could feel her frustration as every dish and every...

Cozy place, fantastic staff but the food was mixed - some dishes were great, others were really disappointing. We asked for a Cheese & Garlic Pizza which they don't usually offer, so it was off the menu & I am grateful that they agreed to make it, however you couldn't taste any garlic at all. Also the pizza seemed like one of those small supermarket ones & I know they make their own pizzas which come out looking way more marvellous than what we got. Next the mains, Ravioli described as filled with aubergine & cheese was actually just filled with cheese, had aubergine pieces scattered in the tomato sauce which was terribly bland & the ravioli pasta was really hard, like it had been in the fridge then reheated but not thoroughly. I ate two of them & gave the rest away, then was put off & didn't want to order anything else because I felt it would be awful. My friends ordered Spaghetti with Courgette Cream & Prawns which they really enjoyed & said they were very happy with. There you go, maybe eat the pasta & avoid the pizza & ravioli? Tiramisu was awful, definitely not mamma or nonna (grandmother) recipe. It had a weird aftertaste. I prefer...

A lovely place to spend a hot sunny day. While I felt a bit like a dog with a chew toy trying to tug my lamb off its stick, the other food looked delightful. Just wish the meat had been tenderised because the flavours were great. Also would’ve named the dish more on the lines of a salad as the meat wasn’t quite the main star. I did lose one piece to the streets while pulling it off the stick and although it dampened my mood for a good ten seconds, I’m certain it made the dog that found it much happier. I wouldn’t write off another visit because of one dish and would definitely be open to visiting again. The staff were polite and the food came pretty quickly after ordering which was great because everyone was hungry. It’s also a nice place to grab a drink and catch up with some friends. It’s pretty local too which is super convenient.

We thought we try out this Italian place, was easy to book as can do online. Place was very cosy and decided well. We ordered a starter of fruttura de mare which is a calamari prawns and parsnip, which was cooked well not too heavy batter. Some bread with vinegar and olive oil to dip. For the mains we all ordered different ones there was the sciatielli allo scoglio a pasta and seafood mix this was ok though I would have expected some more chilli and more seasoning in the sauce it was a little plain. My favourite main was the pork belly, was fabulous just to look at but tasted divine, flavoured well Calf's liver was are let's try out option but it was surprisingly good and went well with the accompanying sides in the dish. Lastly there was a kid spaghetti with beef Ragu and this was on par too and the nephew enjoyed it very much.

Came here for a celebration dinner and had such a nice time. Maria gave us two glasses of prosecco on the house to kick off our anniversary, and all the staff knew that we were celebrating and gave us their congratulations. They saved a really cute table and made for such a lovely ambiance. It was so sweet of them. We got the fried courgettes, the burrata, and for mains I got the spaghetti alle vongole and my boyfriend got the liver. The latter was incredible. The vongole, which were recommended, were not as fragrant as i would have liked, but I was comparing with the very high bar of Sicilian pasta alle vongole, which perhaps is unfair. The rest of the food was really tasty. We also got a bottle of wine, and the bill seemed very reasonable - around £100. We look forward to coming back.
