This perfect little museum..Just a ‘stones’ throw away from eel pie island hahah!! Pun intended...I had a really amazing time here, I brought my Dad mainly because I know he loves history and the Rolling Stones, and he has lived around the area for a very long time. The people who manage the museum have so much knowledge I felt priveledged to speak to them. They are extremely passionate and it’s so amazing to see. They are preserving something absolutely incredible in musical and social history. I am 25 years of age, and I get sick of reading things online. I just want to go and speak to someone who’s lived it, been there, experienced things. I had heard about Eel pie Island a little while ago from reading abit here and there online. But walking into this museum it’s real and refreshing, the people are there with their stories. You can explore groundbreaking history and the incredible musicians that graced the island in the 60’s within this museum. If you are in the area, it is 100% worth a visit. Thankyou to the people who continue to work hard to welcome and teach visitors about the incredible history this town has to offer. I know this may be controversial but this is what puts Twickenham on the map not the Rugby ground hahahahah! Thanks so much for...
