This perfect little museum..Just a ‘stones’ throw away from eel pie island hahah!! Pun intended...I had a really amazing time here, I brought my Dad mainly because I know he loves history and the Rolling Stones, and he has lived around the area for a very long time. The people who manage the museum have so much knowledge I felt priveledged to speak to them. They are extremely passionate and it’s so amazing to see. They are preserving something absolutely incredible in musical and social history. I am 25 years of age, and I get sick of reading things online. I just want to go and speak to someone who’s lived it, been there, experienced things. I had heard about Eel pie Island a little while ago from reading abit here and there online. But walking into this museum it’s real and refreshing, the people are there with their stories. You can explore groundbreaking history and the incredible musicians that graced the island in the 60’s within this museum. If you are in the area, it is 100% worth a visit. Thankyou to the people who continue to work hard to welcome and teach visitors about the incredible history this town has to offer. I know this may be controversial but this is what puts Twickenham on the map not the Rugby ground hahahahah! Thanks so much for...

Knowledgeable friendly staff, lots to look at alongside the Stones, Cream, Rod Stewart and Led Zeppelin theres also sections on the history of the building and lots of great information about Trevor Bayliss. It's not a huge place but it's well laid out and plenty to look at. With a single adult entry fee of £3 Or multi year membership and money off (15%) the eel pie pub food for £5. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend if you're interested in the history of music in Twickenham and eel pie island. They also have a lot of merchandise for sale. Not open 7 days check the opening hours before arriving and ring the door...

Very unassuming to enter, and not a huge space, but you will become engrossed in all the memorobilia and history of the place, the music and the culture of Eel Pie Island. Passionate, friendly and knowledgable staff only add to the experience. Love the pick your own vinyl disc to play while you meander through all the information and items - virtual bonus points awarded to those who remember or know how to turn the turntable on and off :)

Will be the most interesting £3 you've spent in a long time, you will leave with a smile and some...

Fantastic Museum with really interesting exibits. Entry is a bargain £3 . To enter museum when open you enter via intercom and will be greeted by some incredibly knowledgeable staff members. Once paid your free to explore the artifacts from memobillia to old photo and videos. Here gives you a brilliant insight into the old hotel and it's music and also the islanders itself. Fabulous starting point to explore the riverside and the island itself, though the island is private you can go to the bridge and also visit on open days.

The most amazing collection of items illustrating the history of the island. Extremely well put together by Michelle. We also have to thank Jane for the tea. We spent a most enjoyable time looking round. Parking is very good as there’s a car park opposite. With free disabled parking.
