Ruined by a 1944 V2 bomb, abandoned for decades, the Garrison Church has been lovingly preserved to save it's valuable mosaics and memorials in recent years. Built in 1863, it was a very impressive building originally at the end of the Royal Artillery Barracks parade ground.
