I have Wonderful Memories of the People and the Fantastìc Theatre Space, with Professional Lighting, Huge Blackout Curtains, Great Sound and Engineer, High Ceiling, Charming, Atmospheric, Yes , a little Bijou in the Dressing Room and Box Office However, once you step inside, its a Fabulous space, both Intimate at the same time as an infinite feel to it for both performer and audience . The space is limited because its a listed building.... Originally , it was a Church for the Greek Community then passed On so that the Community would have a Safe Space to Help the local people and beyond, by adapting the church into a Theatre, so appropriate in many ways. It was used as a Community Centre...full of life...the Cafe was first class bursting with different aromas of home made EVERYTHING. You could go there to sort out a housing issue, (leaving the kids in the creche) with the Help and Counselling then get a bit to eat then catch an early show in the theatre, You've Smashed it But Dont Forget the Kids in the Creche Im 75 and waiting for my invitation to perform there once again, bucket list Seriously, Im ready for my profile now Mr DeMille Call me.... Read moreA little gem of a theatre in Camden, with always friendly and helpful staff. There's a small but well stocked bar, several unisex toilets and the theatre space itself is well equipped with decent seating and good acoustics. Theres even plenty outside tables for hanging out before and during intervals. I don't go often but it's always an uplifting experience.
