⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Possessed by Pizza – And I’m Not Mad About It.”
Welcome to Lost Souls Pizzeria – the only place in London where your dinner stares back into your soul. This isn’t your average Friday night pizza joint; it’s a full-blown satanic séance with sourdough. Think horror movie meets crusty carbs… with a side of goat’s cheese.
Tucked away near Mornington Crescent Station (Northern Line – because of course it’s the black one), it’s an easy stumble from the underworld or just KoKo if you’re out drinking. Plenty of buses glide by in ghostly fashion – look out for the 24, 27, 29, 88, 134, and 214. Whether you arrive by broomstick, bus, or Uber hearse – it’s accessible.
Outside dining is available if you’d prefer your demonic dining experience to come with fresh air and fewer jump scares. Or maybe you want to eat under the stars while wondering if that’s mozzarella or ectoplasm dripping from your slice. Up to you.
Now, let’s talk about the pizzas – blackened, blistered, and brooding with vegetable charcoal bases that look like they were baked in the fires of Mordor. They’ve got plenty of veggie and vegan options, so even the damned can dine dairy-free. Each pizza comes adorned with a pentagram design, which is either a very cool detail or the start of your spiritual downfall. We move.
I ordered the Jack Shelly: butternut sauce, goat’s cheese, sun-dried red onion, and a balsamic pomegranate drizzle that tastes like someone whispered forbidden secrets over your plate. Utterly divine (ironically).
They offer other nibbles and alcohol free beer, if you feeling a little concern in getting inebriated.
Service? Impeccable. Relaxed, warm, and zero pressure to sell your soul (but no promises if you order extra garlic).
Is it for kids? Absolutely not. Unless your child has a Damien complex and prefers black pizza over Paw Patrol. But as a pre- or post-KoKo bite, or if you’re flying solo and want some me time with Mephistopheles, it’s a cracking spot.
Parking Pro-Tip: There is street parking – but beware! Yellow lines lurk everywhere. Free parking on Sundays and public holidays is safe, and on weekdays you’re good between 10am–4pm (before the cursed rush hours kick in).
Final Verdict: Great for groups. Great solo. Even better if you’re goth, hungover, or just done with boring beige food.
Would I return? Yes. In this life or the next. 👹🍕🔮
Warning: Side effects may include mild possession, garlic breath, and the urge to sacrifice your ex for...
Read moreFood, drinks, and atmosphere + aesthetic? Genius! The service? Could improve a bit. I came here on my birthday by myself, recommended by a friend who knows I’m a huge fan of the movie. They just sent me the address and menu and that was it. When I arrived, I was asked brashly if I had a reservation to which I answered no and that I didn’t know I needed one but if there was a link I could reserve so I could or if they had any availability for one. No biggie. My mistake. The bartender looked at the server and he said that if it was only me that I could just be seated at the bar. Great! The bartender only seemed to care about serving drinks, and even I ordered a mocktail because I don’t consume alcohol. Took my order and after that, even though I was pretty much in his face, acted like I didn’t exist. I had to ask the server for napkins or anything else since bar guy ignored me, and even the server was busy with all the other tables, so I was forgotten. When I finished my meal (I ordered the gummy worms mocktail and the Jack Skelly pizza? The one with butternut squash sauce, which everything was just delicious!) it took 20 minutes for them to charge me after I made several signals to the bar guy. I get that I can be shy and quiet, but… I did even wave. Server dude even had to tell him that I was finished so I could pay when he saw my face. I was gonna order dessert but I decided not to after all that, and even bar guy at the beginning told me they didn’t have half of the desserts they had on the menu, so I ask what did they have… I don’t know if he answered or not. They seemed to be singing and having fun with the music, which is great, but… What saved the whole night was the food, the drink, the playlist, and the whole vibe plus decor and aesthetic. I want to promote it on social media but still debating. The owner or manager at one point came out and greeted every single person there, I thought that was nice. I hope I didn’t sound whiny, I just wanted a nice birthday evening, but it seems like the service pretty much in all of London was the same. If you come here, please find out first if you need a reservation. Reserve. I guess don’t sit at the bar, and don’t be afraid to branch out and order the weirdest pizza ever, and I don’t mean the look of it, I mean the taste. It’ll probably taste better than the same old pizza you order...
Read moreFirst thing that's worth mentioning is how incredibly kind, fun and friendly the staff are. They are so attentive, they regularly check in, and deliver a fantastic service. For service, this team deliver and look after you fantastic regardless of group size (most recent attendance was a group of 10 of us, but have had the same experience as a couple or smaller group). Then the restaurant itself. There has been such an amazing attention to detail - check the ceiling pic for instance - and the goth, homage to The Lost Boys is absolutely beautiful. The place is clean, well maintained and you can see that there is a real care for the restaurant in itself. Now onto the food. Charcoal pizzas so the dough is black regardless of having either a standard or a gluten free base. The quality on both bases is fantastic (tried a friend's gf base, it didn't taste much different to a normal base, would eat again). Then there is a fantastic range of pizzas which are customisable from a list of toppings, and there is also no issue with vegan, veggie or meat eater options. Do recommend The Empress pizza with added broccoli! And cocktails are fantastic. There's a range of themed cocktails - really recommend the 'It's just noodles, Michael', but there is also a happy hour range which have a fantastic choice from Smirnoff ice with absinthe to the slushy Margherita. Also recommended is the beer & bump which definitely kept our group going.
Although we booked late, the team at Lost Souls accommodated us and didn't once make us feel like we were an inconvenience, in fact, they actually helped sort our booking so we could have maximum time there.
It's a fantastic place, so if you're stopping by the Camden area, take the 10 minute walk down to Mornington Crescent, or if you're coming from Euston, take the 15 minute walk down, and go to one of the best little gems London...
