Join the band wagon of these fine tasting burgers! This has been such a positive experience! It is situated right on Camden's popular High Street, so it is very easy to get into and is a massive standout among the businesses there. It is a unique feel to a hamburger restaurant mixing bands with burgers, but it suprisingly works! The food on average will cost you £15 per head and you get a decent portion that is filling as well as very tasteful without losing quality or feeling too bloated. The menu presents itself with a variety of burgers and even the options to be adventurous and have staff create your own burger with your own recommendations. I ordered the BOB King (medium cooked) which was a beef burger accompanied with caramelised onions and infatuated with a variety of sauces (£7.85) . I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries (£3.70) and a fresh mojito (£4.90). The burger was very high quality and well cooked! The bun was soft to eat into so when you bite you was able dig in straight to the beef which was juicy and succulent flowing with the soft taste of onions, giving you a delightful taste, along with the the sweet sauces melting deeply in your mouth. The sweet potato fries were well cooked and crispy so after a bite of the burger you can nibble on this as well as drink a bit of mojito for a refreshing feel! The downside is eating the burger gets very messy! So I would advice heading to this place with your friends or someone who doesn't mind a mess. But I can confirm to you this a beautiful mess and well worth the experience as it is unique, cheerful and most of...
Read moreWe got a seat straight away which was nice, and ordered two burgers (one a la carte and one custom 'build your own') and a chips to share. It took a while to come, though it wasn't busy, but we didn't mean as presumed that meant it was fresh. Eventually the burgers came (though no sign of the chips). The bottom half of my burger was completely cold - I couldn't be sure if it was undercooked or if the bun had just been badly defrosted. the bread did taste a little dry and stale, though the burger itself tasted OK. Still no chips. Eventually we were brought some cheese poppers? Which we sent back as had not ordered them. The chips arrived after we had finished the burgers so we requested they were removed from the bill which was done with no fuss, which was good. The bill then arrived and i was sorry to see that I had been charged £2 more than I was expecting for my burger. I double-checked the menu and it definitely says 'custom burger: £8.50' - not 'from £8.50' and it was not mentioned that, for £8.50 you must order 1 patty, 1 cheese, 1 topping and 1 sauce. I had specifically asked if I could have more than one cheese for the same price and the waitress did say that it would be 50p more, but did not explain that this applies to everything else - ie, you can only have ONE topping and ONE sauce etc. I think 50p for a squirt of BBQ sauce and onions AS WELL as a slice of tomato (shocking, I know) is just a bit disgraceful. Don't get caught out - and for god's sake go to Five Guys instead - better customer service, better food and...
Read moreOn Tuesday the 16/8/22, I had lunch in this restaurant which is located very close to Mornington Crescent underground and KOKO, in fact if you sit by the window like I did you can see KOKO. I was served by Akash he was polite and everything a member of staff should be. I ordered a Fanta, which was served in a glass bottle alongside a clean glass with a straw, “very nice”.
I ordered a chicken burger and fries which arrived on a slate plate and the fries in a separate bowl. The food arrived quickly and looked great and most importantly tasted great. One thing I really liked was that they had Encona hot pepper sauce in the condiments tray just in case people really like their food spicy 🌶 “like I do” I thought that was a nice touch.
The interior is really interesting, they have murals painted on the walls some of the Beatles and loads of vinyl records stuck to the ceilings, very interesting look.
As I was eating my burger, a gentleman sat near me and when his food arrived I immediately got food envy, he ordered garlic and butter prawns 🦐 they looked delicious I had to ask him if I could take a photo. The next time I eat here I’m definitely ordering those, he said it normally comes with salad but he didn’t want the salad. I have no idea how much it cost but it looked great.
All in all the experience was good, the food was good and the price was good. Take a look at the photos and let me know what you think...
