4 night stay in a 1 bed Adagio Aparthotel. Clean, modern, soundproofed and spacious room, very nice! I was on the 9th floor and had a spectacular view overlooking part of West London via an internal balcony which you could step in to by sliding open the bifold doors, very swish! Supportive and comfy double bed with soft pillows and good quality white cotton bedding. Plenty of storage and hanging space for clothes etc. SMART TV on the wall which I didn’t make much use of but was absolutely fine and had decent connectivity. All kitchen facilities available including a small dishwasher, with a supply of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, dish cloths, tea towels, oven gloves, milk (long life portions), tea, coffee, cutlery, crockery and so on. Basically bring your food shop and you’re good to go! Modern solid bathroom with generous shower unit and decent pressure rainfall shower head. I was working night shifts and was a bit worried that the main roads nearby would disturb my sleep in the daytime however I was really pleased with how quiet and sound-proofed the place is. I managed to sleep really well. There is underground parking which is charged separately at a daily rate. The parking seems secure enough and never had any issues. There is an internal lift from the underground car park which can access all floors and found very convenient. I had an unlimited buffet breakfast at £16 on one of the mornings and can report that it was perfectly fine with lots to choose from; cereals, continental, pastries, cakes, fruits, juices, English breakfast items including boil your own eggs. I made sure it was a morning I felt hungry and made the most of it ! The staff were very polite, welcoming and informative. A special mention and huge thank you to Vishal and Manisha for looking after me. I look forward to staying at the Adagio Brentford again very soon. All my...
Read more~10 minutes walk from the Brentford train stop (recommend walking in the street with rolling luggage if traveling to/from airport). Very cool lobby. The room is a great size. A much better option than an Airbnb and has feel of an hotel. Receptionist Vanisha was very welcoming! I arriving around 10am and she assisted me with an early check in by asking housekeeping to prioritize a room for me that was aligned with my preference. She was super friendly and helpful by explaining the check in process, fees, hotel amenities and giving me some recommendations on what to do as a first-timer in London. I didn’t experience breakfast yet at the hotel but the smell of bacon walking in and dinning room atmosphere convinced me that it’s probably good.
Few things I noticed about the room but aren’t a big deal given the room could have been rushed to accommodate my early check-in. I noticed coffee splashes on the wall and door that stores the iron, the caps light don’t work (or i just don’t know where the proper switch is) my room didn’t have any face towels, the bottom of the night stands were a bit dusty and the beautiful floor to ceiling glass balcony had fingerprints/hand prints in various places. Since you don’t get daily cleaning unless you stay more than 8days, I’ll probably take it upon myself to do those touch ups (now that Iv noticed them, it will bother me for the next 4 days) though the bed was done very nicely, kitchen and bathroom was very clean.. no hairs or stains on the linens. The wall by the dining table could use a paint touch up though.
Overall I can tell I will have a lovely stay and I am happy with my choice of choosing an Aparthotel that was affordable and updated than an expensive hotel, or very...
Read moreWe stayed 14th-17th May. We arrived at around 4pm, and were told to take a seat while they made sure our room was ready. Bear in mind check in was actually 3pm! On entering the room almost immediately wasn’t impressed, but we didn’t want it to ruin our stay. Broken desk lamp with oven gloves shoved behind, corroded/damaged shower floor, drip/water marks on wall by kitchen area, handprints on headboard, various scratched fittings, only one small saucepan with a lid that didn’t fit, no frying pan or any other cooking utensils, no privacy with curtains open, black hairs on shower mat, cracked surface bedside table, shower door seal hanging off, etc, etc. We complained next day and ADI on the front desk was superb, he was very apologetic and got us into a new room almost straight away, far superior, and a couple of complimentary drinks. Both rooms we struggled to maintain the A/C at a low temp. Didn’t like the set up downstairs in the lounge area, the breakfast area/bar? is way too simple and basic, not inviting at all. The location of this hotel isn’t great for the tube, about a 20 minute walk away partly through a rough estate, wouldn’t like to do that at night! The immediate area isn’t great for going for a stroll either, there are parks not far away, and Kew Gardens are within walking distance but by the hotel grounds there isn’t anything inviting, apart from going to the Sainsbury’s local! All in all the whole place is desperate for an upgrade and redesign, it’s not somewhere to stay for sightseers, probably more for business types or a short stay stop off. (FIRST 8 photos are first room with issues, last THREE are...
