This small park has recently undergone a complete transformation. Probably only the beautiful mature trees remain the same.
The highlight is the children's adventure play area, in particular the ten-metre high climbing structure that contains two slides. One of these is said to be suitable for use by disabled children. A large circular swing that seats up to four children at a time also offers a lot of fun.
Even if you are an adult without kids, the new and much improved Ancoats Green still has much to offer, with paths for walking through the greenery, lush expanses of flowers, multiple park benches and litter bins plus large rocks with information displays about local history.

After many consultations with the Council and planners, it's now ruined as seen from a car park just off Jersey Street. Its now full of paths and hardly any green space, along with a kids park. Council need to save money, so why ruin a perfectly good park!!!
Was due to open September 2024 still no where near ready. There are 4 kids parks already within a quarter of a mile!!!! Why build another one!!!

Great green space to chill and have picnics.
