This is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic staff. I went on Mother’s Day as it is my first Mother’s Day where I’m pregnant after a long infertility journey. So it was a special occasion!

They are so considerate. I am also a bit deaf and I mentioned that when booking. The staff were really accommodating and they were visual in their communication with me and they repeated things for me. Also, they sat me and my husband at a quiet table. If you or one of your party have a disability; they will definitely be kind and welcoming to you!

The food is out of this world. It was one of the most aromatic biryanis I’ve ever had and their naan bread is the perfect texture. They also gave me a delicious free Mother’s Day dessert of ice cream, nuts and berry compote. This made me feel very special after what I’d been through on my journey to motherhood.

I can’t recommend Indian Affair enough. If you want to be treated warmly, kindly and with great respect then you’ll be extremely pleased to go here. If you haven’t been yet then give it a try. You will be made to feel very cared about no matter who you are and you will...

Conflicted in this review as I went a week ago, and had no complaints - would have given it a 3 /4 stars. However went again last night with my family as a 4 for dinner: Made the manager aware that I had a nut allergy, and immediately he seemed to be off with us. Created a bit of a strange vibe. Food came out erratically: One persons thali came out first, with each next main coming out at 5 minute intervals. Meant the last person started eating 15 minutes later. A naan came out 5 mins after that, which we politely refused as most people had finished eating. We never got one of our starters either.

Given it’s a new restaurant you can forgive these sort of issues early one. But we didn’t even get an apology from the manager (he was our server). It was clear there was an issue with the service, but he just maintained a rude attitude. The whole meal was really uncomfortable, and put a downer on the evening. Unfortunately I won’t ever go again (even though the food is pretty reasonable), and wouldn’t recommend...

Just spoke to the manager and tried to discuss the issue regarding the food that we received. We received cold food and there was a funny smell. The manager tried to defend himself saying the delivery driver may have changed the food as it has left the restaurant so it not there responsibility now. The food that we received is stale, smells and the funny thing is the restaurant have 50% of on the items that we ordered today, don’t know what’s the occasion but now I am sure cause they had food leftovers and to get rid of that food they are selling all this at a discounted price. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have shared some pictures of the food that was delivered to us 🤮🤢. I have eaten some of it and praying that I don’t get food poisoning from it. Be aware of ordering from this place as they will serve you stale food over delivery and if you go back and speak to them they will blame it on the delivery driver who...

Had a delightful early dinner here tonight! The samosa chaat to start was absolutely amazing. The pilau rice, however, tasted quite peculiar, unlike any pilau I’ve had before. The chicken biriyani was generous in size and incredibly tasty. We followed the waiter’s recommendation and added the biriyani sauce, which elevated the dish. The lamb in the spinach curry was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the sauce different to others I’ve tried before. The garlic naan, while still edible, could have benefited from a bit more cooking time. It was doughy in the center. Despite the minor hiccup with the naan, we’ll give it another go. It’s strange that the beers aren’t on the menu, but Cobra is reasonably priced at £6 per pint. The service was excellent, and the waiter seemed to be the owner himself. We took advantage of the 25% discount on food offered in January, which saved us a bit of money.
