Came here with my 11yr old son and what an amazing experience it was. We did the full trek and the instructor we had was absolutely top notch and gave clean clear instructions regarding the harnesses and how to manoeuvre around the courses. Staff are brilliant and polite. The full trek is split into two for the mini trek and then you follow the second, more technical section. They allow 2hrs for the full trek and we did it in 1hr 15mins so they let us fulfil the two hour slot and let us go round the second half again, this for me was how it should be done, customer focused and I take my hat of to you guys and girls for this. An instructor follows your group around the course to ensure your safety and sets way points so everyone stays together and your line stays on the cable the whole way around which is great to ensure the safety of your kids. There are no toilets but there is some at the park cafe which was a 2mins walk so for me not a problem. At the end of the trek, the kids get a sticker and a certificate if they want one. All I can say is a big thank you to the staff there for making it such a pleasant and enjoyable...
Read moreFamily of 5 - 2 adults and 3 teenagers/pre-teens. We booked a 10.30am slot on a Monday morning thinking it might be quiet but it was pretty busy - we were only 1 of a number of groups starting at that time. Safety briefing was excellent and we were able to put our own equipment on without contact from the instructor, but who closely monitored it all. The lower trek first was scary enough - not so much for the height, but the ones with just a rope to walk along that were very wobbly. At times felt under pressure to move on, conscious there were people waiting behind us. Think it would have been good to have had an instructor at the end of all the groups just to encourage the ones that were worrying as we did feel a little abandoned at times. The zip line sections though were the best fun and made all the scary parts worth it!
Some tips: you can wear jeans (we were perfectly comfortable in ours, if you want to bring a phone to take photos then make sure you have a zip pocket. Wedding rings are OK but you'll be asked to wrap it in tape. Your hands may get sore...
Read moreWe did the treetop net trampolines as a family of 4 and the kids (age 7 and 9) absolutely loved it, it kept them entertained for ages and it tired us all out nicely! The reason I have deducted stars is because of the lack of toilet facilities. For somewhere aimed at families spending a good hour or two there it's very poor that this isn't provided. Staff told us toilets are a 5 minute walk away - this is 5 minutes walking for an adult, if you are walking with toddlers/young children it will take longer. They're happy to sell you drinks, they have managed to find room for a vending machine and a coffee machine so it seems very lazy and cheap that there's no public toilets at a place where most customers are spending £80-£100+ for a family day out. I can see other reviews have mentioned lack of toilets so they clearly just don't care about the inconvenience. If they can build trampolines and assault courses suspended in trees then surely a few loos is achievable! Maybe they could use the £5 online booking fee they charge to pay...
