Spent a fascinating hour learning about the history of these 400 year old alms houses. Our guide Penny was a wealth of information. The rooms and grounds are beautifully kept and the chapel is quite charming. Well worth a visit.

What a fascinating 400 year old alms house, opened at part of the May Bank Holiday on a free flow self guided visit. Four rooms where opened with informative room guides. Still used today.

It was beautiful architecture, but unfortunately, we missed the open house. There are wonderful sculptures in front dedicated to Sir Archibald McIndoe, the surgeon.
