Contains a small local history museum, an art gallery with changing themes throughout the year, a cafe with both inside and outside seating, a gift shop and brochures covering other attractions, etc in the local area. Disabled access friendly. There is a small charge to visit the museum and art gallery.

The museum and art gallery is small but worth a visit to learn the history of Lymington and surrounding areas. The cafe is delightful and service is excellent. Tried the lentil daal soup, it didn't disappoint and is very well priced. Highly recommended cafe in Lymington.

We love this place - and are happy to drive for two hours to reach it! The exhibitions are imaginatively curated and beautifully presented - and the café is a little gem. Really lovely staff, too.

Headed there with the 3 kids (7, 10 & 13) ... lovely, clean, welcoming entrance and the staff very friendly and helpful. Bought a family pass and well worth it to support the charity. Lots of interactive elements and information to keep the kids interested. Plenty of hand sanitizer around the place to keep you safe. Kids enjoyed the art room and there was lots of information to take away re. Wildlife, bee spotting, looking after hedgehogs... I have a couple of weeks worth of info for their home Ed! There was also a temporary wildlife exhibition with stuffed animals and the chance for kids to dress up etc... We were approached a couple of times to see if kids were enjoying themselves and had a great chat with one of the gentlemen about the general area of Lymington .... Would highly recommend! We parked on Ave road which gave us 3 hours free parking (just a 5...

Charming museum of Lymington and the detail especially about salt production and how Lymington developed was fascinating. Everything was clearly explained and if you wanted more then there were extra folders so you could access more of their collection.

The images they have on a screen in the middle of the gallery are really worth seeing and you can dip in and out of the bits you would like to see. Definitely worth touching the screen to see what you can find out.

We were lucky enough to see the high street exhibition in the gallery which is definitely worth a visit whilst it's on but treated so well that I'd visit further exhibits...

Such a lovely attractive well designed museum and art gallery. It so near a large car park and also a long stay car park and close to the high street. We saw the current exhibition of women artists some of whom painted'wartime scenes. But the delight too is their cafe with really friendly staff and the most delicious coffee. So nice we bought some of their coffee beans too. Forget the coffee chains and enjoy it here . We visiting Lymington again today and will revisit...
