📍Siam Supreme @ Heaton Road, Newcastle I was craving for something spicy when we stumbled upon Siam Supreme. In terms of Thai Food, we've only experienced Thai House Café (review link below) in Newcastle's City Centre, and that was an excellent experience. Unlike Thai House Café which focuses on Thai Street Food, Siam Supreme's specialty lies in their Traditional Thai Food & the presentation of their cuisine. The environment is quiet and decorations are lovely; it exudes a very serene environment. The cuisine was delicious and classy! Just look at the presentation of the food. 🌶️It was not spicy enough for me, in which the team quickly rectified by providing chopped birds-eye chillies. The prices are standard prices I'd find in Newcastle's City Centre. Portions tend to be relatively smaller, but that's perfectly fine for Michelle and myself since we are not heavy eaters. 🍲Tom Kha Soup (Mushroom) - incredibly rich with Thai herbs, creamy and delicious 🌿Spicy Fresh Chilli Garlic Basil Vegetable Tofu - just look at the presentation. Simply beautiful 🍚Sticky Rice We received complimentary Strawberry Desserts, coated at the tip with White Chocolate. With the class of their cuisine, I am bound to return for more.

Very authentic Thai food with great service in a cosy restaurant on Heaton Road. We ordered off the lunch and a la carte menu. The sharer starter platter is wonderful with perfect satay chicken, fish cakes, prawn toast and spring rolls. King prawn blankets were delicious too. For mains we had very authentic pad thais, pad krapow, penang and kaeng aom. Pad thais came with crushed peanuts and wedges of lime and were fresh and flavoursome. The kaeng aom and pad krapow were full of delicious authentic flavours, in particular the kaeng aom is a special dish to try with lots of novel flavours like bitter melon to create a fragrant broth style curry - BUT both were a little on the hot side for us so perhaps ask for a little less chilli if you're sensitive. Finally the penang was one of the best we've ever had, with a thick fragrant sauce, we finished every last drop of it. Great service and very welcoming gentleman. The front of the restaurant is beautiful with plants everywhere but quite cosy so be sure to book. The lunch menu is excellent value and the a la carte is reasonable. Highly recommend

A friend recommended this Thai restaurant to me. Although there aren’t many seats, the place is very clean and tidy. I ordered a Thai iced lemon tea — the tea had a unique flavor and tasted amazing! We chose the Supreme Platter and got to try five different appetizers. Each one had its own character and was really delicious! The Tom Yum Soup wasn’t too sour and was full of flavor. The Chicken with Cashew Nuts (Grandma’s Secret Recipe) was seasoned just right — definitely worth a try! The Pad Thai noodles had a great texture, not soggy at all, and the taste was excellent. I truly enjoyed the whole dining experience and will definitely come back again. Next time, I hope to try the sticky rice — it’s my daughter’s favorite dessert!

I hate having to write a bad review for a place I really like, but Siam Supreme really let us down at the weekend.

We placed a large takeaway order early in the evening for a family meal. There was a delay in the order being ready but that was no problem.

Unfortunately when we got home there were several items missing - some had been missed off the order altogether (we ordered four portions of rice but only one was on the ticket), while others were on the order ticket but missing from the bag.

The level of customer service was embarrassing. The guy seemed more concerned with blaming us for the missing rice, despite other items also being missing.

My feedback would be to always read back the order when it is taken (lesson learned on my part too) and if a customer has had to drive back to your restaurant to pick up missing items, don’t quibble over inexpensive stuff like...
