Random-Rooms — Attraction in Newport

This was our second time escaping from a room at Random Rooms, and we'll certainly be back again in future.

Our host was Alex and he set the mood brilliantly. He was a perfect mix of friendly, fun, and helpful at just the right moments.

The Cell was a fun task, trying to get one of our team out of a cell, but all working together to achieve that. There were plenty of clues to uncover, and combinations to find. The previous room we did (The Goddess' Curse) was of a similarly high quality.

It's also worth noting that the doors weren't actually locked on the rooms we did - I know that some people love the idea of an escape room but can feel claustrophobic. It worked really well here, and didn't impact on the task at hand.

Isle of Wight Blinds and Family recently went to an escape room, thinking we're all smart cookies, right? Wrong! Turns out, we actually aren't as smart as we thought we were. Picture this: frantic searching, shouting out random numbers, and a lot of clueless staring into space.. 🤔

We definitely had a lot of help from our quiz master. But hey we got out. Eventually. 😂

If you want to a day of fun this is certainly the place for you. I mean what better way to have a blast than to lock a bunch of people in an escape room together. Highly recommend – just bring your thinking caps folks. And don't over complicate things.

We’ve now successfully completed 3 of the rooms since the business opened and have thoroughly enjoyed each challenge. While each room had it’s own theme or story, all have been entertaining and with varying levels of complexity. The rooms are well decorated and it’s very easy to get lost in attempting to puzzle through the hour - great fun as a group and can’t wait until the new rooms are...
