Pretty standard for a wetherspoons, High notes would be the building itself and the staff, Strange that upstairs is closed so all customers were split between two moderately sized rooms, Unfortunately seemingly understaffed, plenty of tables left uncleared, however present staff were very attentive and helpful, especially the nice chap in the waistcoat. Could do with more staff and signage on stairs and doors stating what portions of the pub are open/serving food in.

This is possible the smartest and most impressive Weatherspoons that I have visited, and I have visited rather a lot. It is a beautiful building with so much character and style. It is an old converted church that is very neatly converted to a restaurant. It is spacious and smart construction that works well. As always, the cost of food and drink bring you to a Weatherspoons and they are often very full, it's the cost that makes me visit.

This Weatherspoons had so much character and charm. It's in an old church, and they were in the process of doing a lot of restoration work to the structure of the building. It's a really good-sized pub with lots of seating. There is the normal Weatherspoons menu with something for everyone. Our breakfasts came quickly and were really well cooked. Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Different Wetherspoons pub set in an old deconsercrated church in the centre of Newport. Standard wetherspoons fare of food and drink, always good value. Stopped off for breakfast. Plenty of seating including first floor where you get a good view of the church's interior. Friendly service. Parking a litte difficult in the immediate vicinity. Garden area. Well worth a visit.
