Cromer piles on the seaside charm with its stately Victorian pier, theatre and sweeping promenade, yet for all that you’ll discover this harbour town remains endearingly authentic. Head down to the Blue Flag award-winning beach and alongside the beach huts, funfair rides and ice cream parlours you’ll see traditional fishing boats drawing off the sands on a hunt for famous Cromer Crab. The chalk seabed that lies off the coast lends the crabs a tender, sweet flavour, which you can taste for yourself at Cromer’s excellent selection of restaurants. The town’s relationship with the sea is explored at Cromer Lifeboat Station. Situated at the end of the pier, next to the popular Pavilion Theatre, it provides the opportunity to see the lifeboats up-close and learn about the brave volunteers who work here. The most decorated RNLI service member of all time is celebrated at the nearby Henry Blogg Museum. Great place to enjoy a relaxing day out, sunny or not!😉 👍👌👏♥️ Nice walk around the beach and the museums are definitely a must see!!!😉 👍👌👏♥️ I definitely recommend the place!😉 👍👌 👌♥️

Large expansive shingle beach with sandy areas, at the foot of sloping cliffs. North facing position means it doesn't get the afternoon sun in winter, but it's good for a bracing walk at any time of year. Fishing boats and old tractors provide the feel of an authentic working fishing town, while visitor facilities at the pier and impressive lifeboat museum add welcome attractions for the tourist. Colourful beach huts provide a cheerful backdrop and an accessible esplanade means everyone can enjoy the coastline.

I visited Cromer Beach in August with my family and loved the warm weather and stunning local scenery, including the charming architecture. The traditional seaside feel, with its iconic pier and beautiful sandy beach, made it a perfect getaway. We enjoyed relaxing by the sea and exploring the town. The atmosphere was delightful, and the beach was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend for a classic British coastal experience!
