The atmosphere was certainly like school trip-y, wasn’t bad but not the best. They had nice terrace seats which we enjoyed but that was the only positive part of our experience at this cafe. We ordered English breakfast and cappuccino. Both of them were mediocre at their best. The cappuccino was pretty weak in terms of its flavour but didn’t bother me that much as I didn’t expect great quality. The breakfast was just….i think a 18 yo uni student can cook way better, tomatoes under cooked, toast overly toasted so dry and hard and the mushrooms….absolutely disgusting. Mushrooms need to be cooked in a large enough pan with high ish heat. They didn’t cook them properly that they were steamed more than fried. I see other people’s photos showing “black” mushrooms which is a sing of them being steamed. I mean come on, you charge £11 and give one slice of toast and one egg, one sausage and one bacon which is pretty stingy, at least cook the simplest thing properly if you’re paid to be a “cook”. Id definitely never go back, I think the cafe next door have breakfast which looks 100 times better.

Rocket House Cafe is a great place to go for a casual meal or snack. It has a good central location in Cromer, and a lovely sea view from the outdoor balcony seating area. There is also plenty of indoor space, so it's a good option for all weather conditions. However its starting to look a little tired and parts of the venue were showing a bit of wear and tear. The cafe is dog-friendly, they are just not allowed on the sofas. The staff are very friendly and proactive ensuring tables are clean and the free drinking water is topped up. There is no table service, so you will need to order your food and drinks from the counter. While there was quite a qeue, it went reasonably fast and my order was taken in 10min. It did take 30min for our food to arrive. The food and cakes were tasty, but nothing exceptional. There is also a nice selection of specials, which change regularly in addition to a varied standard menu.

Went there twice whilst on holiday in Cromer. Had lunch and breakfast. Both times the food was delicious, well presented with good sized portions. My sons shared the adult fish and chips, my eldest said it was the best fish and chips he’s ever had! It had a lovely panko crumb. I had the big salad bowl (v) for lunch which was fresh and tasty in a huge bowl! For breakfast my husband had the big brekkie and I had the vegan brekkie which were super tasty. The views from the window and balcony are spectacular, you can watch the sea roll in whilst eating. The decor is bright and lively with plenty to look at. There are stairs or a lift to the cafe level. Toilets on the ground floor and an accessible toilet on the same level as the cafe. Find a table and order at the till. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t fault it both times we went.

The Rocket House Cafe; Have re-read my review and I still feel the same way. Just be aware the café and is still going to be open during the refurbishment of the Henry Blogg Museum. The entrance is going to be via the fire escape at the rear of the museum. If you need the lift, it will only operate from level 3 to level 2 for the café.

I come here to Experience my favourite drink. Rising early I arrive each day to Order my drink and choose my place. Carried carefully the coffee arrives, Kind and cheerful Every waiter does their best. Toast and marmalade I sometimes Have as a special treat, On weekends it's very busy Unless the sun is out. Stunning views across the sea mean Everyone seeks a window seat Coffee here is at its best Aromatic, piping hot and Frothy with a picture if you're lucky. Enjoyable alone or with company.

The staff here are some of the best I've met. They are totally professional and they create a lovely atmosphere where the customer is made to feel welcome. The range of food/meal choice is extensive and ethically sourced. If that's not enough the cafe overlooks...
