Turkish Delight — Attraction in North Tyneside

Food is nothing special. Ordered 2 pizzas from here last Saturday (31/03/18). If I wasn’t starving and had already decided what I wanted to order I would of chose elsewhere. I called the shop to see if I could place an order but pay by card. I was told I could do this online only. Since the JustEat 50p service charge I have avoided using them for that principle. So rather than getting a card machine and accepting card payments in the shop they would rather I pay the service charge and let JustEat take a portion of their profits also. They have another website where you can pay 40p service charge instead, but I decided to use JustEat as I assume they take a bigger profit portion than the alternative provider. Just ordered a chicken and donner mix. Charged £10 there was next to no food. I asked the guy serving is that correct he said yes. I give him £20 and he forgot to give my change until I reminded him. I have a disability which makes my movement slow so I guess he thought that had been boozing. Complete waste of money. It is worth noting that another person told him to take chicken off, maybe because it was burnt. Anyways check the the photo, I had to get some bread when I got home as there wasn't any pitta bread or even a wrap. Very disappointing. Due to current situation decided not to eat out at a restaurant whilst enjoying a few days in Whitley Bay and opted to grab a take out. We ordered a chicken kebab, chips, salad, hot sauce and mayo and took it back to our hotel room. I can honestly say it was absolutely spot on! Seperately wrapped, nice and hot and a great salad. Loads to eat and we couldn't finish it all, all for £10, great service, great quality, great value. On two occasions we used Turkish Delight for our evening meal after a few beers.
