Fantasticly detailed exhihits and history examining the seige and history. Very cool trench artwork exhibit from WWI as well. Love to learn about the history of my new home country. Saw the parade a few weeks ago. And was reccomend this museum for full history. Proud to see how peaceful and welcoming everyone is after all of the struggles. Christians overcoming their differences ❤️ Psalms 37 (last image) 🙏 got a great engraved flask and cannon.

Interesting museum….but keep in mind it has a particular viewpoint of its own. Our guide was as fair minded as one could imagine one being from this group and he tried to distance himself and his group from extremism quite convincingly…..but he left me with more questions about his qualifiers. That said, I recommend visiting but consider balancing your Derry visit by visiting by the Museum of Free Derry as well.

This is well worth including in your itinary of places to see in the Maiden City. It describes the history of the siege and the dreadful conditiobs endured by the people during the siege. The constant bombardment by the Jacobite forces, the diseases and lack of food etc show what it was really like to be an inhabitant of a besieged city. There is a lift if you cannot manage stairs and a nice gift shop as well.

I ordered several items from the shop online. As I live in Australia, I thought this would be a problem, as posting is usually only to the UK and ROI. However, staff member Stuart facilitated this, and I received the items today. They were exactly what I had ordered and were in perfect condition. This was wonderful customer service, the like of which I have seldom encountered before. Thank you, Stuart, and all at the Siege Museum, which I...
