I have eaten in Claude's for a long time. I've even taken family and friends there as the food is very good The service though leaves a lot to be desired! The staff make you feel like you have to hurry your order and that they're far too busy to be bothered with small orders. Even the owner/manager (Declan) made me feel I was inconveniencing him but taking time to order! I watched him chat to a local business person who he was more than happy to serve! I will be back because I like the food but I'll make up my mind beforehand! But I certainly won't embarrass myself by taking anyone with me! REPLY TO OWNER: With respect, after writing my review, I read through other reviews of your establishment and again, with respect, I am not the only customer who has made these observations! While the vast majority are 4+, there are some which are not. As a business owner myself, I know that these are the reviews which matter most. If there is more than one customer with the same concerns, then I would be looking for solutions...

We stumbled upon Claude’s whilst visiting Derry last week and it was absolutely beautiful . The choice of sandwich fillers was amazing and all very fresh I opted for the chicken goujons served with salad and chips and also the nicest coleslaw I have ever tasted and my partner had the lovely vegetable soup and sandwich . These meals also included a drink in the price so it was a bargain . I have worked in hospitality all my life and also work in my family’s sandwich bar and Claude’s has given me so much inspiration and ideas to take back to Liverpool . Not to mention the staff who where very polite and helpful with excellent customer service I wish I got there names we visited on Saturday 25/2/23 around 2:30 and the ladies who served us done this place proud , also the cleanliness of this lovely cafe was impeccable well done Claude’s I can’t wait to visit next time we...

I don't usually leave reviews but I feel it is appropriate this time given the service. Visited this cafe recently for breakfast with family. It was not a good experience. A customer asked could the door be closed as it was freezing the answer was the owner doesn't allow us. The food was not good the fry is served on a small plate. The white pudding slice was so thin I thought it was a joke and it was burnt. The potato bread appeared by the amount of grease to be deep fried the shot of orange juice is just that a shot from a carton. The toast came without butter. All round not a good experience...

Great breakfast served up. The scrambled eggs with beans and toast was too much food for me as it was a very large serving. The owner (I assume) was friendly and cheerful and with 1980s pop music on the radio and great coffee, it made my Sunday morning. Cheers.

Food was decent, if a bit overpriced considering the meager portions. After paying £9 for a breakfast I'd expect more than the shot glass of orange juice I was given. I bought a separate full glass of orange for £2. Everything is bicycle themed inside.

Lovely breakfast! Lots on the plate and every bit was delicious 😋. Reasonable pricing in there too. Its often forgotten by my circle but we'll have to remind ourselves of this little gem more often!
