Chantry Place is a genuinely lovely shopping centre, but this is the only place I can review that carwash in the car park!
I washed my car here about 3 years ago and it was crap but assumed it would have got better, but unfortunately it's got worse AND more expensive!
I paid £40, FOURTY, to wash my 2 door car inside and out... this was completely different to the prices on the walls I will also add. I was pressured into going for the more expensive option, as they did last time I went, but i fell for it, so i was expecting a brilliant job.
I didn't have time to inspect it but I had a look when I got home and it is literally a joke. All they have done is smother wax over everything and hoover the floor. My car is covered in dirt and scratches and mud and leaves, inside and out. They have literally done nothing.
If i'm paying £40 for a car wash, I don't expect to have to clean it myself when i get home!! Absolute joke.
I encourage Chantry Place to get a different Car Wash company because this is such a shame that its been this bad...
Read moreGreat for parking, especially during weekdays after 3pm (until 1am) when you get a flat rate fee of £3.50 (March 2025). Always head for the bottom floor of the underground car park first, especially during busy times, as other drivers tend to ride round trying to find a space on the upper floor first. Always clean in the shopping centre. The better of the three shopping centres in Norwich (Anglia Square & Castle Mall being the others), with a food hall on the top floor, and toilets opposite. Toilets also available by the lifts/escalators to/from the car park. Always call it ‘Chapelfield’ (its previous name), and has a good range of shops under one roof, with an M&S a stones throw away. Once the shopping centre closes, you can still access the car park from a side door on Chantry Road, opposite the back of The Theatre Royal. Have always found it the cheapest of the city centres car parks for an...
Read moreI had an unfortunate experience with the night assistance team at this mall. I lost my car keys and fully acknowledge that it was my own carelessness. In a moment of urgency, I had my friend call the mall on my behalf, as I was having trouble with my phone. I then was advised to used the assistance bell at the entrance to seek help.
The response and tone I received from the staff member on night duty was extremely rude. She was dismissive and unnecessarily rude when I simply wanted to see if there was any way to get them or if they were turned in to lost and found.
But, I want to commend another staff member I spoke with today who was incredibly helpful and empathetic. While he wasn’t certain if the keys had been handed in, he took the time to look into it and even followed up after contacting the store where I may have left them. His professionalism and kindness was...
