Chapelfield Gardens in Norwich is a true gem of the city. This beautifully landscaped green space is an oasis of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of the city center. With its lush lawns, vibrant flower beds, and mature trees, Chapelfield Gardens is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

One of the things I love most about this park is its accessibility. It's located right in the heart of Norwich, making it easy to access from anywhere in the city. Whether you're looking to escape for a quick lunchtime stroll, or spend a leisurely afternoon picnicking with friends and family, Chapelfield Gardens is the perfect spot.

The park is well-maintained, and there are plenty of benches and picnic tables scattered throughout, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to sit and soak up the sun. The children's playground is a hit with families, and there are often events and activities taking place throughout the year.

One of my favorite things to do in Chapelfield Gardens is to simply take a stroll around the park and admire the stunning floral displays. From the carefully tended rose gardens to the wildflower meadows, there is always something beautiful to see here.

Overall, Chapelfield Gardens is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a peaceful, picturesque green space in Norwich. Whether you're a local looking for a quiet spot to escape the city, or a visitor exploring all that Norwich has to offer, Chapelfield Gardens is...

This is a pleasant democratic green space on the edge of the city centre. It is kept reasonably tidy and has many fine London Plane trees, that conveniently act as umbrellas in Autumn and shady parasol's in Summer.

Of the 4 nations that make up the UK, only the English have the propensity to turn Paradise into some sort of Purgatorial wasteland. Hence the many reviews that gleefully classify Chapelfield Gardens as "dangerous" and filled with "druggies" and the paraphernalia of their smoke and weed. As if this little piece of placid, exemplary Norwich, was a dangerous, fetid Favella in downtown Rio de Janeiro.

Boys will be boys and narcissists will be narcissists; the rest of us must just muddle through and enjoy the blessed bliss of a warm day, a Marks and Spencer's sandwich, the laughter of happy children and the beautiful people of Norwich, going pleasantly and soberly about...

Great experience for families, small groups, and individuals. .

Lots of grassed areas and benches to sit on.

Choice of 2 cafes, one bang centre of the park that sells snacks, teas, coffee, ice cream and cold drinks. Outside seated area.

The second cafe is Harry's restaurant that during the day serves from a take away hatch, a proper selection of hot and cold drinks.

Equal quality that you've come to expect from any multinatiomultinational coffee houses.

Quality selection of food served from breakfast to dinner time.

Oh, and the servers are polite and welcoming. Do visit you will not be...

Lovely small park in the city centre to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Decent green space to sit, have a picnic or play sport. Plenty of bins about and generally tidy. Nice little enclosed playground for small children with a train, swings, seesaw, slide. Also a swing and climbing frame for bigger children just outside. Restaurant inside the park, although I am yet to try it. There is also a bandstand. There is a nursery inside the park. Also a toilet block, however these were closed when I visited. 5-10min walk from city centre.

Very popular park in city centre. Took my toddler with her scooter early evening. Headed straight to the play area. Good size with a small train, small climbing frame with a slide, large see-saw, 2 sets of swings and a big trampoline/swing thing. Ground is covered in wood-chippings/bark. Handy to have the cafe hatch behind the fence as parents can get a drink and snack! We had the area to ourselves which makes a change. Maybe don't go at 6.30-7pm as we saw 3 rats which weren't too shy.
