Broadfield Park — Attraction in Rochdale

I’ve lived near Broadfield Park most of my life, and it’s been my childhood place of escapism since I was a young girl. From the bowling green to the red ring, every corner holds a memory. I love how there are still great spaces for children to sit and play, just like I once did.

My siblings and I grew up in this park, and it even became my commute home from college. I’ve even buried a time capsule here from when I was younger — that’s how special it is to me. Now, seeing the younger generation enjoy it the same way we once did is truly heart-warming.

It’s a family-friendly, safe neighbourhood park with lovely community events all year round. Even after moving to the city, I still miss my safe space here deeply. I’d love to get involved in helping to maintain and preserve this beautiful local gem for future...

Nice place to take the family in summer whether it's to play football or go on the swings in the children's play area. There are also a couple of gym machines to use for older individuals. Also, the grassy area is a good place to play football or have a picnic. However there is a great amount of litter which ruins the look of the area and it's not the safest place to go alone or late in the evening as there have been multiple crime...
