Formal gardens Fixed play areas Skateboard park Toddlers play area Sports pitch area 2 bowling greens Bandstand Listed water wheel Library and information centre (formerly Hare Hill House), where people can make general enquiries and access council services Hare Hill Park is a traditional Victorian Park housing the town’s library with many of its original features offering a wide range of leisure facilities.

It is located at the gateway to the Pennines serving the community of Littleborough, and is regarded as the “Jewel in the Pennines crown.”

The friends group have been instrumental in returning the park to its former glory and have attracted over £250,000 for its restoration.

I love the park, I was very lucky when I was growing up to live right across the road, now I can bring my son here and it is as good in fact better than when I was little. There are 2 play grounds one for younger children and one for older, they also have a skate ramp, library, bowling green and generally there is a ice cream van. The gardeners do a fantastic job of keeping everything looking neat and nidy and a real asset to the park. There are also places to have a picnic whether you want a bench or to simply sit on the grass. It's definitely...

Beautiful, small, well-maintained park set in a small village surrounded by the Pennine Hills. The spring blossoms are gorgeous currently. There are short walks around it, 2 play areas for children, a bandstand,, a bowling green and a beautiful little library behind the big house, which is now being gradually restored and repurposed as a venue for various local group activities. Tthere are toilets at the bowling green but not always available, but given current cash-strapped local authorities, it's...

Lovely well kept grounds / park, Two play area's, one near bandstand for the age group, 1 to 10 yrs & the other which has a skateboard section , 10 to 16 yrs , I would like to see The Old Waterwheel restored, shame to see this piece of history in the state its in, I remember this working in the 70's & 80's, to the rear of the waterwheel is the Monkey grave, There's a cafe on the ground floor that's within a retirement complex rear of the waterwheel, Or visit the local shops.

Literally my favourite park ever!! Especially when the blossoms are out. I am always either here with the kids or walking about. It’s got two parks, a skate park area. Nice paths to walk on and lovely flowers. It’s very well kept by the gardeners.
