Rumney Hill Gardens — Attraction in Rumney

Lovely little walk in the rain, sheltered in parts by the trees, always a lovely visit...the flowers & buds are starting to come out...pity the council don't spend enough time & money on keeping up the tennis courts & clearing paths..Would be great if it was possible for the public toilets to be open too...Maybe get...

It was well maintained when I visited. There are tennis courts and a bowling green. There is room outside the gates for a few cars to park for free. I use a mobility scooter so could only get around the proper concrete paths. It looks lovely going into the woods with access to the public...

We had a lovely walk along the trail in the dappled shade toward Rumney Hill Gardens. We stopped briefly at the Cafe which happened to be open. We had a lovely welcome from Diane who opens it on a voluntary basis for the community. After chatting over a lovely cuppa we headed back home....
