There is a lake that you can peddle a swan or if your feeling more energetic you can go out in a canoe, but if like me your looking for a more leisurely activity you can take a walk in the nature trail. Nene Wetlands-Safe? Why is the wildlife trust failing to act to stop scooters and mopeds riding around the park? It is not only a nuisance it is dangerous. It appears that recently someone was threatened with a hammer by a person on a scooter. Be warned it is no longer the safe place it once was. The wildlife trust view of “ ring the police” is not an acceptable response, as they seem too busy to even respond and ask that you report it online. Great to see that the wetlands have been opened up (slightly) and that there is access. The quality of the site still needs work and the wildlife trust need to do more in the way of interpretation. The whole thing mixed with shopping doesn't really work and the amount of congestion and access the whole site has caused has made more problems and produced more pollution. Worth a walk around if your feeling the urge but better places locally to go...
