5 stars to the quality of food (to the chefs) reduced due to the terrible service. It was a busy day and I 100% understand that this will cause additional wait times, however, at one point we saw 34 empty seats and no one being let in with a queue of 20(ish) people waiting outside. After 30 Minutes of queuing outside in the wind and rain with no interaction to us or any other customers queuing, we Finally made it to the front of the queue and it looked like we were going to be allowed to sit down. A member of staff came to talk to us (in regards to menus needed etc) but in that second another customer arrived for a collection. She was instantly prioritised (despite having only just arrived) in fact, the member of staff interrupted us talking to deal with this other woman that had just arrived (I will also mention that her order had then been messed up so this took a while adding 10 minutes extra to the already long wait). 40 minutes after arrival we finally sat down, we experienced yet more wait times and zero communication adding to our frustration. The lady who finally came to take our order then lent on the table to take our order (right up next to my fiancé) with her mask down under her chin, She then coughed and cleared her throat and told us she had a cough (Common sense would have dictated that she would have kept a little distance then). Despite ordering everything at the same time our drinks took 10+ minutes and we didn't receive them till we had our food. Nobody checked to ask if the food was ok. Staff members simply announced the name of the food and walked away. We ended up paying via the QR code and this was fortunate that this was an option otherwise I truly believe we would still be sat there. All in all, a 30 to 40 minutes tops meal ended up taking us over an hour and a half. We've visited Several Wagamama's across the UK as we love the food but this has to be one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. This all boils to an incredibly poor sense of management of customers, tables...
Read moreWent here on the 19th August for a meal for two. Was first greeted with a “we will be with you in a minute” while there was staff just walking about doing nothing. After 10 minutes, we were taken to a table outside. When it came to order, we had a young girl come up to the table, lean on the table with her arms across it and ask “what do you want”. Not impressed. After ordering, our orange juices arrived, to which the lady spilt a quarter of my partners cup onto the tray and said “oh you’ve only lost a little bit it’ll be okay” and walked off. Then my main arrived….10 minutes later my partners main showed up, leaving mine to be cold as I wasn’t going to begin eating without him. We decided that maybe it was just a blip and so we proceeded to come back yesterday to try again. Much quicker service to the table and served fairly quickly. Yet again my orange juice got spilled this time onto my side of the table. No napkin brought over or anything. We ordered two starters and 2 mains. My main arrived first, no signs of the starters. I tasted it….it was cold. Then my starter arrived and I sent my main back to be warmed up. My partners starter then arrived two. I don’t understand why our meals weren’t brought out together or at least in a close amount of time. Then my main returned and then the young man serving said “are you waiting for anything else?”. Even though my partner had no food in-front of him as we both had eaten our starters. Then my partners main arrived and it was okay. Overall I’m not very impressed, trying twice to just give them the benefit of the doubt only to clearly make my mind up that we certainly won’t be going back there. After spending £60,...
Read morePast 2 visits messed up orders, first new items to menu, they hadn't ordered enough on a weekend so no tuna considering only 4 healthy items on the menu you would hope they would do enoughx especially at only 1pm in the afternoon?! , partners meal was given to someone else and had to ask where it was, many items missing from normal menu, like syrups or coconut chips. could tell was frustrating staff things weren't up to scratch, pretty much every bit had some issue. Today went again, Tuna was available today, sadly was completely missed and partner had finished his by time I got mine after asking and waiting for them to clearly cook it. Was exceptionally quiet so unsure how they could make the error, and then when it did arrive the meal was not how it was (first time delicious but won't be ordering again!) , Tuna totally overcooked and dry, barely any quinoa and no edamame beans, don't think they knew how to do the meal, surprising if expect tuna pink in side especially while I was waiting so didn't expect overcooked.. If we weren't pushed for time I'd of sent back to make again but was very hungry and had a reservation elsewhere. Must say though Cannot fault the staff they are always very polite and tentative although would be good for them to check on meals when the see several times walking past someone not eating if they are still waiting. Big downside for me though is they do not allow dogs for outside dining, the other red restaurants at Rushden lakes now allow outside dining with dogs (lago inside and out!) but waha is not dog friendly such a shame when that's usually why we are at the lakes, to...
