Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Ordered from here on Deliveroo and upon receipt realised it was a mistake to choose this store over the others in the area as the staff are clearly either incompetent or just don’t care.

Firstly the breakfast wrap was missing from the order along with the two packs of ketchup, we received both iced frappes we ordered but how they expected us to drink them was unclear as they decided not to put any straws into the bag! The drinks were not even completed correctly either with one of the drinks missing the coffee that was clearly requested as part of the drink and both had normal whipped cream instead of the requested light whip (you can tell as normal just tastes like cream and light tastes like marshmallows) the nacho cheese chicken sandwich was the only part of the order that was good (I guess it’s hard to mess up a pre-made sandwich) and the cookie tasted like it had been sitting on the side since the day before.

The bag was fully sealed upon delivery so was prepared and packed the way we received. Just glad we got a refund for the missing items from Deliveroo

Would advise avoiding this location and using one the other costas or coffee shops in...

Extremely disappointed with what should of been our treat. First of all despite my wife saying our drinks are to have in they made them in takeaway cups, my partner rightly so asked for them to be on proper cups, but 2 staff were very rude, I could hear back chat as the person who took the order took the drinks to the back kicthen in a huff. The barista was even worse chucking up a new hot chocolate with no care at all, you could still see the lumps of hot chocolate in the cup. My partner had the caramel aero hot chocolate but the rude barista plonked a mint ball on top.

My wife complained when we sat down because the hot chocolate tasted funny. There was no manager in site. A person come up with my wife’s re fired drink again and said the barista has returned from being off sick and that she was having an off day. Also missed our bus because of the delay, thanks!

I would propose they promptly remove the barista from service until fully trained in making drinks properly and possibly raising a smile now and again.

I believe I was given the wrong milk despite saying three times what milk to put in. I could tell straight away as from other Costas I can usually taste the milk that’s been used when I order that specific drink. My stomach also started to feel funny which is normal with my allergies. I was pre-warned that the Caramel sauce contained milk which is usually fine but I created a big emphasis on oat milk being used in making of the drink itself and stated I’m allergic. Now I’m not very well and I know it’s not the sauce because I always order this drink and have never had a problem at other Costa’s. I have also noticed that from other costa stores, they put the allergens requirements in a marker pen on the cup itself but that wasn’t written on there either. I hate to say I don’t think this is the first time they’ve put the wrong milk in my drink before. Closer attention needs to be put with regards to peoples...
