I took my family today mostly because of the jumping pillows that i purely booked for to be told it isn’t working today at the entrance. I just wish yous let people know that before they booked online and then after telling us that we were told no food or drinks could be bought as the cafe was shut so we’d need to leave and go to the entrance for food when needed which is a bit annoying to be doing so with the kids not wanting to leave. I think £4 per adult is insane and also I think if you are paying customer then why should We still need to actually have to pay £3 parking??? Surly if we have paid to do something there we should Get to park for free as that’s added cost on to something that’s costing already…. We stayed for around 1/1.5 hours out of the 3 hours as kids got bored without the jumping pillows so feel I...
Read moreThis is a pretty impressive playground, it's large and spread out. It has a good mix of regular playground equipment and more adventurous equipment. There are toilets close by and a few kiosks with drinks and ice creme.
The adventure area is very big and my daughter had lots of fun, there are shoots, cargo nets, climbing walls, flying foxes and a large. Fort to explore, but the adventure equipment is marked at 5+ or 6+.
My biggest issue is the price, £8 for an adult and child is quite a lot, it may be good for an older child which can use all the equipment and has more stamina to play for longer, but for younger children I'm not sure this is value for money. Children under 24 months are free, but since most of the adventure playground is 5+ I would thing there should be a cheaper price or free entry for...
Read moreBest alternative to a soft play I can think of. What a fantastic park, we used up the whole 3 hour time slot with a trip to the cafe in the middle. Located within dalkieth country park. They are 3/4 different areas, suitable for kids from 3 on upwards. Would love to have a birthday party here. For a family of 4 with youngest going free it was £11 off peek, not including the £3 parking fee. While it has the standard swings and slides of a normal park, what really sets this place apart is the wooden towers and runways. Plenty to explore in these tree houses. There is also a metal tube structure which passes under a bridge over a river, unique as far as I know, although a little uncomfortable! Will definitely be back...
