Wellington is an active Church of Scotland. I am a long term attender so this is an insiders viewpoint. Wellington is an inclusive, welcoming church. It has exceptional reflections from its preachers, marvellous music and a generous and diverse outreach to its local community, and nationally and internationally, given the size of its congregation and available resources. This involves reaching out to, and supporting students and staff of its near neighbour, the University of Glasgow and immigrants generally in Glasgow's West End and beyond Worship takes place in a building of architectural merit outside and in. I believe they run some classes for which you may need to pay and register separately, but otherwise this was a free event and lots of fun!
We had a go at writing in Japanese, creating masterpieces from paper (oh I mean origami) and listen to some traditional Taiko Japanese drumming.
