came across this place just by chance and we were blown away with the service and quality of food! Initially we were worried about taking a one year old and pram into a small cafe/coffee shop but the member of staff who greeted us (I’m assuming the owner, could be wrong) moved a chair away from the table before we’d even stepped inside and welcomed us warmly and made such a fuss of our wee one. A high chair was swiftly added to the table and they weren’t annoyed about our pram being folded up and sitting in front of the counter. Another member of staff brought over brightly coloured straws for our one year old to play with and was so friendly and welcoming. I ordered an apple juice which genuinely was the nicest I have EVER had. I then ordered the French toast with bacon which was absolutely outstanding. My husband had the croque madam and said it was excellent too. Our entire visit was lovely and the staff were so friendly and accommodating - we will...

What an amazing find this place was. We were walking along Gibson Street and wanted to try Stravaigin. They were hosting a private event that afternoon, so we tried Pulp instead. And we did not regret our choice at all. In fact we were extremely glad that ended up in here. My wife tried the Eggs Benedict with Parma Ham and I had the Tartan Eggs Black Pudding and Haggis. Both were simply delicious. The haggis and the black pudding were to die for. Their freshly squeezed Orange and Apple juice were amazing as well and so was their coffee. And to make things even better, their service was fantastic. It’s a small place but they still managed to find us a table with a short wait. We were very well looked after. I will definitely go back to Pulp when I visit...

The food was absolutely delicious, copious portions for very reasonable prices, great coffee, but I’m giving 5 stars in particular for the service. My juice hadn’t been in front of me more than 30s when I somehow managed to knock it all over the table and myself. The staff jumped to the rescue, with the guy in the glasses immediately giving me a sponge and showing me to the bathroom so I could get it out before the stains set. While my tank top was ruined and jury’s still out on my beige trousers, it was so nice to feel so helped instead of being made to feel bad for making a mess. I came back upstairs to a new juice as well! Will definitely return here next time I’m in Glasgow and would encourage anyone looking for a tasty breakfast/brunch to hit...
