Been there several times for the fondue before pandemic and the experience was nice. So when we noticed they offering fondue again we poped in immediately But it comes out very disappointed.

We chose the surf n turf set which is the most expensive set and it came with a full plate of meats and seafood which looks very good. But the thing makes us angry is the cheese, the soul of the fondue.

They only provide us like 1/6 of the pot of cheese and it finished very fast and the food is more than half left. And when we ask them to add more cheese they told us the kitchen is closed. No one told us the kitchen closed time when we order or during our meal. And when I asked why there's such little cheese for such a big plate of food, their explanation is because we are only 2people!

That's the most rediculous excuse I have ever heard, you should measure the portion of cheese by the the food you serve, not the number of people you serve! If there's 1 person will you just give him a tea cup of cheese to finish the whole plate of food?

And the worst thing is their attitude, the waiter claim there's nothing they can do and wants to walk away without giving any solution! After I call her back she said the only thing they can do is help us pack the rest food so we can take them away( equals to do nothing). I asked her to bring her manager, but still no solution no apologize. And the only thing the manager can do is she promise to do something to our bill.

Now we came to the best part. After we scratched off all the cheese we can find in that pot, we asked for the bill. (I swear to god that must be the cleanest pot I've ever seen in fondue). There's nothing changed the bill! We felt like we been treated like a fool. We have to ask them again, and at last they just removed the price of 2 drinks we didn't even finish. We just paid the bill and don't want to ask them anymore. In their opinion we just asking for trouble and begging for their mercy.

At last, thank you for encourage me to purchase a fondue pot to do...

nice atmosphere, but rudest staff i've ever encountered (bethany). i booked a fire table with 5 friends which includes two bottles of prosecco. when we got there, our server allowed us to switch out one of the bottles of prosecco for a mojito at no extra charge. we sat a while and got our mojito, but no prosecco. when we asked about our bottle of prosecco, i guess our server had left and this other woman very rudely told us since we swapped we only got the one drink, even though we had prepaid for two. we sat there for a while and finally decided to ask again because the prices for the mojito shareable and prosecco on the menu were almost the same so it shouldn't have justified cancelling out our two drinks, again, the ones our original server said we would get and that we payed for. we asked to talk to our server again and the woman came over (found out that her name was bethany) and said "as i said before, you only are going to get the one." we were baffled, since we knew we were getting ripped off. Finally, like ten minutes later bethany comes over with another mojito shareable and puts it on the table and says "i don't like you guys." my friends and I were stunned, we hadn't done anything to provoke this out of her, only tried to clarify that we payed for two bottles. without apologizing, she said "i've had a bad day." my friend offered "do you want a drink with us? is there a way we can help?" to which she responded "you could leave." i wish that i was making this up but all of my friends heard her say all of this directly to us. i work in a restaurant as well, so i'm always very understanding with wait staff but bethany was so rude to us for no reason and really ruined the experience, which otherwise would have been nice. a staff member named maria was super lovely and helpful, but i don't know why bethany would work in customer service when she has such a terrible attitude towards customers. i've really never experienced anything like that in my life and i...

Good for a drink and relax garden but really not for families.I feel for the first moment they don't want us there. They found difficult to found a place with a pram finally I found alone a table with a space and I told to the service we are fιt !!! Very bad service and policy. The manager horrible behavour. We ask them to close a table for a party 18 to 20 persons outside. They told us that the policy is to pay a fee 500 pounds for the reservation to book the outside area.First the amount for a fee for that space of table is big!! The same time we saw infront of us 14 persons to eat dinner and I ask the manager if they have paid any money to close that space and they told me that they where 10 and it is not nessesery. But I count them and there were more and they keep lie to me like I m stupid.Maybe they close for 10 persons but they were 14 to 16 persons and the chairs is the answer. They told us that the only place to a give party was upstair only! And it was with out fee.But the only reason that we want an early afternoon dinner it was for the outside space because it was summer. All the service general really not good and especially for families. And they act like they don't want to help us.Or better to tell like that they will make us a favour to book the table like we will eat free!!Really how they keep places with that attitute. So nice place but not for families .It was the only place they not give to the children something to paint or to play.Of course we have our owns things to keep busy...

Been here several times for the good food and the atmosphere but never once had good service. Went last week for dinner and drinks and had booked to sit outside. The place was quiet and there were lots of staff on but still took a wee while to have our order taken. After we had eaten, we were sat with dirty dishes in front of us for absolutely ages waiting for them to be cleared. We ordered a chocolate fondue which was brought out with no fondue forks or plates, the server said they would be right back with them. Waited 10 mins and still no forks or plates - our server was having a chat with their colleague at the bar inside so we ended up just digging in with our hands. We also had to go and pay at the bar since no one was around to ask for the bill. Also had a birthday meal here earlier in the year, had booked weeks in advance and they stuck me and my partner at a table both facing a TV with football on😅 had one drink each in the hour and a half we were there because no one bothered to come and check on us to take an order. The food is good, the beer garden atmosphere is lovely, the servers are friendly enough; however, the service is consistently rotten.
