Lovely long sandy beach with good views. Large shallow paddling pool for younger children. Close to the busy scenic harbour which has boat trips to the famous Bass Rock and it's gannet and other sea bird colonies. Short walk into the town centre which has plenty of amenities for food and drink. Parking is very busy as expected when close to the beach areas.
North Berwick became a fashionable holiday resort in the nineteenth century because of its two sandy bays, the East (or Milsey) Bay and the West Bay, and continues to attract holidaymakers. Golf courses at the ends of each bay are open to visitors.

Excellent eating houses ( except for the chippy that charges a tenner for a fish supper!! ) The only thing that let's it down is a lack of parking spaces oh, and a jobsworth council worker who works at the toilet car park.
