Hei I went to the "officers club" shop today in the forge centre. The staff there was extremely rude and disrespectful and disgusting. It was two staff member there a lady with piercing and a young blonde guy. It was offers going there when i went to till to buy, the lady with piercing tried too overcharge, when I told her that you are overcharging she was rude and said when I scanned, the amount came like that. one of her colleague told her the price front of me still she tried to overcharge. She didn't bother to apologise. She was stiff and extremely rude. I was with my mother sister and my niece they came from Norway to visit me.

When we paid and went out of the shop the same colleague(the young guy) came after uss and told uss that the payment has not been through . He said the system is saying the card is not accepted and we don't accept the "sparebank" When I went to my bank account the payment was made it was not even pending but it went through already . He said I will refund you just came back to the shop.

When I went back to the shop they started to look into their pc system.they said in the system no payment has been made because they don't accept the "sparebank" card. I showed them my online bank payments but still they was arguing. I am 40years old, in my whole life I have never experienced this kind of disgusting staff how can they refuse to refund or don't let the costumer keep the stuff they have bought from their own money. At that point I started to get upset and I told her I don't care about your system on my bank account it's saying its paid. Payment has been paid to this shop. and it's not even pending it's paid. The lady with piercing started to get rude with me and started to shout and said I don't care about your bank statements I will go with my system in my shop. Her colleague then called the manager and the manager guided him and made him through the system. She didn't gave uss fully receipt where you scan the bar.The payment was on their system all the time. They had received the payment. The manager guided him. He then printed the receipt with bar code.

After all this the least a costumer want is an apology. Forget about the apologies when we was going out of the shop the only thing I told her was to be more respectful to the costumer she started to shout and told me to get out from the shop and never come back. My niece is 9years old she is still traumatised. She and her colleague Then started to abuse and put the middle finger. They told uss to get out from the shop. I have my concern for the manager who own the shop. There was no costumer there. the shop was dead no wonder why nobody wants to buy from a shop where costumers are treated like trash. The staff who not need training for only costumer service but also how to keep the shop. She knew nothing in the shop she didn't knew how to enter the offers in the system. It took her 20mins too enter the codes for the offers with the help of her other colleague which was shouting from the other corner of the shop, what code she needs to enter. Imagine how annoying it is for the costumer. She didn't give uss fully receipt. The receipt paper was empty. She knew nothing. The manager need new staff if he want to keep his shop and loyal costumer. No way will this manager get costumer when the staff is no loyal and serious.. I told them too give me number where I can contact the manager they gave me no number or email. I don't wanted too keep the stuff I wanted refund but They refused to return the items as well because it was against their policy so no way they wanted to satisfy their customers. I took my bag and came out from the shop. I will be more then happy too give all the stuff to charity then keep them for my own use. I am dentist and I never let any of my costumer go without they being 99% setisfied I can't imagine how a small shop like this can treat their costumers like this. My family came from Norway and they kept asking me if this is how Scottish people treat foreign....

This is for me a great place to visit as it has everything that makes a place worth the visit. Cinema, Cafes and shops, indormarket. And it caters for those who are well of and us who have very little. Nothing like many other shopping malls who only cater for those with so much money. Only one downfall is there is two cafes with some staff who have no customer care because they don't like my face. Not a nice way to run or work in a cafe. A cafe in the mall not far from the stairs and a cafe inside the indoor market has women who have time only for those they know and treat me like a stranger like I don't belong. A very bad way to run or work in a cafe. Not a nice way to be treated. No customer satisfaction for me in those two cafes. I don't know why as I'm no trouble maker and I have slight Learning problems and went to a special schools. I still shop at the Forge and I always will. Its me who I am. The Forge is great for all who have and don't have much money. A place to shop eat and even go watch a movie. Many will have time for you and some never because they believe are better than you or make u a stranger. Because they don't like your face or they way you was raised up from birth. To be who and what you are as an adult. They don't know or understand you because they know nothing about your whole childhood. I will always shop at the Forge and for those who treat me always like a stranger that won't stop me shopping there. They have a problem I don't. The toilets are up stairs and down stairs at Duke Street entrance. In the in door market facing pound land. Two very dear over price cafes I never go to are Bensons and the cafe in the middle of the shopping mall they give you very little so you pay for more if you want more. Subway is good for those who Love subway and always ask for the subway deals. They sometimes do the vouchers that are very good and if you don't like subway then there's Daughters cafe in the indoor market up past Bensons it's always busy. The Forge for me does cater for those who are very well off and us who are with very little money. Not like many other places like Buchanan galleries and Saint Enoch center who only cater for those who are very well of and don't have cheep cafes. There's 2 sides of the fence as many of us know and on one side is all those who are very well of and on the other side is us who can't get full time employment who many look down on and believe are far more...

The Forge has upstairs and downstairs without Gordon Jackson. You may or not find what you are looking for. It has upstairs a Cine World Cinema. The cinema is not done up or upgraded and can be very dear to get in. Unlimited card is a very good saving and gives much more now for almost 18 pounds a month. With the card that's what you pay. Without it you pay between eight and ten pounds for each film you go see. You go two times that's sixteen at eight pounds a visit. Two visits at ten pounds is twenty. It runs like the old flea pit cinemas we all at one time went to way back. Upstairs we have also Subway and they are changing prices all the time causing to many problems. In the past months the three pound subway with coffee went from three to three twenty then three thirty and now three fifty. Soon many customers will then be no longer going to subway. What's going on with Subway and why are they changing prices every couple of months for the same sub. Cash Generators rocks big time. Leasure Amusements stay well away from as there only for taken all your money and paying nothing back. Downstairs has Asda and many other shops and an indoor Market. Stalls in the mall also. Only one snatch is for many years far to many smokers are not smoking in the smoke shelters. Every day there's so many smoking right outside the doors with such ignorance showing and proving they don't care about the smoke shelters and can smoke where they want. This goes on always at Duke Street entrance and the Cinema entrance with family's. Smoking right at the doors. And security does nothing. They even smoke right next to there baby's and children without any concern of the amount of serious damage and harm there smoke does to there child. This has went on for years and it still goes on. There children never come first. Forge has many cafys and Bensons is one that's extortion. It can be a good day out or one...

The Forge Shopping mall is very clean, very maintained and full of amazing shops. Grocery stores like ASDA, Onebelow, Pound Land, Savers to other clothing brands like Peacock etc, lot of eateries too. Cafes - Bensons, Deja Vu and more. There is a fruit shop just at the entrance from duke street. Bus stops are nearby and you can drop off ASDA carts outside after loading your stuff into your vehicle or if you need to carry. Parkhead's best place to be!

It's getting better. In comparison to other shopping centres it doesn't seem to have as many empty units. Good to see space used in the middle of the walkway to accommodate other traders. Hundreds of parking. Massive range of shops including Asda, River Island, JD Sports. Food Court, cinema and McDonald's within close proximity. Rivals Silverburn and my preferred option to the Fort as its under cover.

This review is more on asda than the forge had a run in with a asda staff member parking hur car in a disabled bay with no badge full uniform on to be told off hur the disabled bays are just a curtesy of the store and anyone car park in them while people in wheel chairs csnt get a space due to people like this and asda dont care what happens in the car park as its not their responcability
