Grosvenor Casino — Attraction in Shadforth

Casino looks like an amusements section from a fun fair, the music and the slot machines sound trying to over power each other (annoying) no promotion no atmosphere no customers, the staff look bored on the tables, the staffs attitude very unprofessional, hearing them bad mouth the company and management just sit back and let them get on it, the bar I’m afraid to order a drink incase the banging of the til will end up breaking it I’ve seen people who are dying happier, no hospitality or interaction.. entrance in the building It looks like something out of the the pass machine on the metro no welcoming attraction … it could do a lot better if there wasn’t out dated point of...

Went for a managers dinner (which was very nice) and live music on Saturday night with my wife. The singer was Alex Hall (you can find him on Facebook) We have been to a few of these functions now at the casino. Unfortunately because of the layout of the restaurant and stage, they are not near each other, so you can hear the singer, but not see him whilst you dine, which is a shame. However on this occasion Alex was fantastic and left the stage to "croon" amongst us whilst we ate. Great choice of songs too! So 5* for that "cabaret" feel Alex. Top man👍👍👍...

Did the Cinema and Meal deal pay £12 for a cinema ticket and a meal in the casino after and you also get a drink included, Wasn't expecting much from the food but we was pleasantly surprised I got the cajun chicken breast which was very moist in a lovely bun, My partner got a steak medium rare which was cooked perfectly, The side of onion rings was also 👌 We will definitely be back again soon, Been back using same deal I got Cajun chicken again and my partner went for the smothered chicken...
