If you are interested in visiting the indoor market ,may I strongly advise you to have a pee BEFORE you enter this veritable Treasure Island of almost everything . The toilets are appalling , Out of Order . broken seats ,no handles ,dirty walls ,floors ,hand washing facilities ,and more .Seemingly at least twenty people a day complain to two long suffering male employees ,who bear the brunt of this ongoing situation .They do tell the people who run these toilets ,but , to no avail. not concerned , The Market Traders need better facilities , having to endure those toilets on a daily basis ,is a health hazard to them all . The market itself is looking a bit run down now, a bit of cleaning up and reorganising of stalls wouldn't go amiss. Otherwise the peaks is a spacious clean place with a variety of shops. The fairly new to the peaks One Below shop for instance is full of cheap bargains. St Lukes and the Heart Foundation are just two other clean charity shops with bargains galore. My review basically reflect on the space in which all the businesses are in rather than any particular business. The area in the market space is pretty small and feels a little run down. There are lots of places to eat inside, also a barber shop, sweet shop and general store. If you're looking for variety then give it a shot.
