Beautiful cornish beach with clear enticing blue/green waters & gorgeous surroundings. Car park & toilets up from beach make it suitable for young families with littlies to tend to. Nearby hotels overlooking beach make it an ideal weekend get away or if a day out, simply having lunch out for a treat - recommend the "Idle Rocks" with outside veranda area & superb views (a must if love seafood😉). Equally lovely with delicious food & superb friendly staff is the "Rising Sun".
Further along seafront are gift/artisanal shops, charming pubs, elegant restaurants, hotels & old fashioned cottages with pretty backstreet lanes.

Crossing takes 20 mins with 3 ferries per hour April - October & hourly during winter. Bikes & dogs permitted too. Other ferries operate such as Place Ferry, King Harry Ferry & Helford Ferry as well as boat trips. Each ferry allows many walks (short or long) in areas such as the...

Rockpools , the sounds of water into rock, often the only beachlife is me...

Boat rides and walks up to Saint Mawes Castle which was like a real life Game of Thrones experience.
Overall, it is a beautiful place to relax and have time for family and enjoy nature at its best...
