Love Cale Green Park even when there isnt an event on .loads of space ...playground just big enough to let a 6 year old play independantly but not too big that you cant see where they are at all times ...good family area with loads of places to picnic .and enough paths for bike rides scooters or roller skates ..gardens are well maintained and even a great area for hide and seek .public toilets too ..lots of benches to sit down and take five ..set in a residential area off the main road right next to the train Line in Davenport ..but doesnt deflect from the peace and quiet ..a Banstand and .tennis courts too and a .Bowling Green thats tucked away in a corner...honestly what more do you need ? I worked opposite this place for a few days,a few people were having picnics on the grass with their children and it looked nice but....its the local dog toilet,more dogs yapping and crapping than people visiting.Im glad i dont live near it,You would not be having a quiet life if you lived opposite.Ok most pick it up but children still play and sit on the grass.If i picked up some s##t and said to you "sit here in this exact spot"would you do it?If you say yes then youre a right muppet. There are a couple of children's playgrounds, plenty of benches to sit, clean public toilets and a bowling green and tennis courts.
