Our neighborhood organized a canal boat cruise, renting a boat to cruise along the canal.
There are beverages available for purchase on the boat, and we brought our own snacks. The organizers also prepared some music, adding to the atmosphere of the journey πΆπ.
Midway through the trip, the boat had to pass under a bridge. Two children had the opportunity to go ashore and operate the red and white iron bars that stopped the traffic. They pressed a button to raise the bridge and let the boat pass through. They had a great time playing π!
While waiting for the boat to turn around, our group went ashore to visit Odiham Castle, which is related to King John of England who signed the Magna Carta.
