We've just got back from spending a long weekend in clacton on sea over my mum's birthday we were really impressed with all that was on offer at the pier. I originally got the big day out bands that they had on offer at £20 (usually £30) so we planned the Saturday to spend most of the day their including the evening as had fireworks on that night aswel we played mini golf, went on lots of rides, my boys loved the go karts (extra £7), played in the arcade and even ate there at the Broadwalk bar the paninis and cheesy fries were lovely and would definitely recommend the darts game in there (£20 for 5 of us to play) on the Sunday we went back to have a game of bowling (£35 for an hr of up2 6 players) and another game of darts and then on Monday went back again to do things we hadn't done such as the wheel which gives nice views of the area and the dinosaur 4D show which I thought was fun. We also again went on some rides and enjoyed the arcade this time only using fun cards which u top up but do get free credits the more u put on a card (it is a card per person though for rides). Id recommend the sundaes aswel biscoff one was delicious and family members had other flavours they all enjoyed. The staff were all friendly and helpful that we saw and spoke to the only downside and reason only giving 4* is the toilet situation only seemed to be 1 lot of women's 3 cubicle toilets open whilst we were there and for the entire pier it meant quite long queues. But on the whole I'd 100% recommend going and will likely...
Read moreI would not waste your money on this awful service place. Came here on holiday with my partner and wanted to play mini golf £6.99 each and got told there is building work outside so there’s a few holes missing, I asked the lady how many holes are missing as I am not going to pay full price and not get the full course. She said only 3 hole missing and did not offer any discount for the missing holes (didn’t want to make a fuss at this stage as it’s only 3 holes out of 18 missing!) Got round to hole 5 and then find out the next hole we could do was hole 12!!! I believe this is misleading advertising as there is a big difference in missing 7 holes as opposed to 3 which the lady said. I complained and asked if I could get one adult crazy golf ticket refunded and they said “they have a no refund policy” the manager of the mini golf explained to me that the assistant made a mistake telling me only 3 was missing instead of 7 and then offered myself and my partner to go round the first few holes again to make up for it!! I then went to the main desk and asked for the managements number/email so I can make a complaint I then got told the manager will call me back the same day before 7:30pm and never did! The service here is shocking and I would recommend going to other mini golf places as the holes itself is boring no obstacles and your missing half the course and paying...
