Fish & Chips at the Pier — Restaurant in Tendring

My experience was not nice there I came down on a coach trip with my church and your Fish and chips was the 1st place I bought fish and chips the service seem okay until after buying I walked right back to say my chips wasn't high like every customer served after me I walk back , did not see the step so high 2 step down and did not see the notice I lost my balance most of my chips fell out immeadiately the unfriendly cold face female staff became tude and arguementive untill the man in his late 30's - 40's just approach and said let me gv you your money un friendly attitude and ended it abruptly and shut me downwhen All I wanted wad the fresh chip.. thwre no oh dear did u hurt yourself or...

I mainly went to this shop as it was one of the closest to the beach. Really regret not having looked at the multiple options that were relatively close by. 1 fish had fallen apart whilst frying, but that's passable, the issue is I had hairs in my meal. Plural. I counted 4 hairs across three separate meals we bought (typical cod fish & chips). This was enough to make me throw up 🤮, but in order to not waste the food, I decided to try to eat around those areas.

Greasy and disappointing. Not to mention, such a prime location only taking cash. We had to withdraw 4 lots of £10 from the nearby arcade just to pay, again not a problem, but the customer service, the food, all in all,...

Most disgusting place ever the workers are soo rude they made my daughter cry!! Disgusting and almost raw chips that are all stuck together and chucked in from frozen. Flying ants and sand all over the place and even the women working there have dirty nails with a stinking sarcastic attitude. My daughter came back to get more food as was attacked by seagulls even though we requested food to be for takeaway and covered and they did not do as requested now left with cuts and marks on shoulders. They simply said aww not our fault we didn’t tell the birds to attack your daughter with disgusting smirks on their faces....
